Four top recruits going to an exhibition game at NU that's sold out.....in a brand new stadium with state-of-the-art everything.....run by a charismatic coach - players' coach -- with a national identity....on a weekend that TSISB comes to Evanston for a night football game.

Cements in their minds an elevated sense of NU basketball and sports on the very front end of their college pursuit. Every other program will look meh.

Prior to today, NU could not come close to presenting this.

Not to mention a visit to the 5* lakeside Fitz Hotel. It has to leave a much better impression than anything CCC has had to work with until now. And there are still major milestones to help achieve and leave a true lasting legacy... B1G Champ, B1G Tourney Champ, Final Four, NCAA Champ.

Last but certainly not least, as demonstrated in 2016, when the Cats are good, there is plenty of media attention to go around due to NU / Medill alumni heavily populating that field.

Honestly the biggest future milestone, to me, is getting someone drafted into the NBA (which in my opinion Nance has a chance of doing eventually). You then can sell the entire "NU experience" package to recruits: 1) chance to go to the NBA 2) world-class education, if the NBA doesn't work out 3) world-class facilities 4) opportunity to play in March Madness
