New stadium dimensions

I see that UK has a page about KPP up (https://ukathletics.com/sports/2018/5/31/_131461810202539789.aspx), but it is basically the press release about the naming. I was hoping they would list the dimensions like they did for CHS (https://ukathletics.com/sports/2015/7/30/_131461810202539789.aspx?id=500). You know, 340-365-390-350-310. Does anyone know the dimensions for KPP? You don't have to tell me the pitcher's rubber is 60'6" from home plate and the base paths are 90'. :smiley:

Thanks, good to know. Not much different than CHS, a little deeper in center and right, and a little shallower in left.

Im curious how the wind will play into the new stadium. I know at the Cliff, it could play havoc. Especially towards the center gaps.

It appears that KPP is on higher ground, and more out in the open, away from trees and other things that can cause swirling winds. But I am not expert on these matters.

It's all turf so the heat generated from the turf will cause the ball to jump out a little better than it did with grass.

I believe that they made LF deeper than right because that is the way the prevailing wind goes, from west to east.

There is a small parking lot beside the stadium but I would imagine it will be used for coaches, media, suites, etc.. during UK games. Parking will likely be in the lot behind the softball stadium or in the blue lot. That's what we were told for the HS league this fall.

I thought I heard that additional parking was going to be at the football stadium and there will be a shuttle available to take fans over to the ballpark. I was looking online to try and confirm it but can't find anything.

I don't think it is that far of a walk from the nearest KF lot. Probably no further than the walk from CHS to the parking garage.

Some parking will be available across from the stadium, it's a small lot right before you go into the greg page apartments. It's right near the traffic circle.
