Going down early to see MBB play Miami 11/5. So with the JUCO commit today, what’s the expectation? 4 wins? 5? Keeping it close? Any blowouts? And BB. Put it out there. Final record. Elite 8? Final 4? NC? Go!

What the hell, I'm going all in on another national title. We'll have talented freshmen, a bunch of talent coming back and a coach who is as hungry for a title as any in the game. Can't reach the top without setting that goal.

Hope so too man. Championship would piss off the NCAA so bad, I’d love it for obvious reasons but they would be sooo butthurt!
Did the OP think this was the football forum? He mentions 4-5 wins as season expectations, and 11/9 is the U of L vs Miami football game.

I'm not setting any expectations for football. Playing competitively every game would be an improvement.
For basketball, at this stage I think we're a Sweet 16 or better caliber team.

2nd weekend if we don’t get axed by the NCAA. I’m honestly thinking they are gonna give us a post season ban at minimum. However, we should only accept scholarship reductions/fines. Anything punishing the current players would be extreme after the action we took.
If they give us another post season ban. I’m going to support U of L no matter what, but I will not be watching ncaa basketball ever again.
Even if it happens. I’ll watch this team all year. These guys deserve it. Mack deserves it. We just need to say screw’em and show up for every game in droves and pump up ratings all year and make them regret not having us in the tourney.
Outside of what the NCAA might do I think we’ll have good year in BB. Mack is a good coach bringing in good players who like him and like his style. Football I think we have a long way to go but it is a start on the road back.
