I was able to walk around the fields of the new training facility today. The place is truly amazing. While there I met a gentleman who is part of the facility's food services. He mentioned delegations from Florida and Alabams had visited recently to check out the place. It's nice to know UK is state of the art in facilities and recruiting room. Everything from players, coaches, athletic department support and a doubting, but hopeful BBN is in place. Wins will follow.

UK was smart in how they built this new facility. No need to reinvent the wheel - they copied several aspects of other great faciities which I really like. Check out the theater room and position rooms - dead on Bama's. Weight room is similar to FSU and Bama's. Entire thing is incredible in terms of not only form but function. Great improvement for our team for sure.

I've been in all of Florida's football facilities and they are surprisingly pathetic for the success they have had.
Which proves the point, you don't have to have the best to be a success. I'm all for the improvements but......

So why do we show the competition what we have under the hood? Should leave it a surprise and force them to come up with their own stuff in the future, but then we did probably base our facility off of things we saw at other schools. We need every advantage we can get right now.

A simple search of construction permits and engineering blueprints will reveal such info. But yes, if only things could be kept secret from the competition.

I've always agreed that good coaching cures all....and being in the state of Florida as an SEC school with the HS talent there doesn't hurt either.

^^^Agree^^^.
Coach finally has roster stocked with SEC quality athletes. Now he needs to improve sideline coaching. If he does imo 7&5 regular season is doable!

It's definitely a game if jimmies and joes, but when we don't have them in abundance in state we have to create incentives to attract them when we don't have things like winning tradition on our side. Stoops has already done well with what we had, win some this season and that in tandem with the upgrades should beget more recruiting success. Have to keep grinding away on the recruiting trail. Those wins are as important as the W's on Saturday.
