My preference would have been for Baker's status to have not changed, in exchange for Kyler being eligible this season.
Agree...especially considering Mayfield's health question.....two concussions in his last three games could be very problematic. Murray would be a better option that Kendall. My preference would have been for Baker's status to have not changed, in exchange for Kyler being eligible this season.
Glad you posted this, JCon...As the Self-Appointed/Anointed 'Mother Emeritus' of this Board, I was harboring those same concerns, but reluctant to just come out with 'em...I'd be less than honest if I didn't say that the possibility for 'Issues' is very real, IMO...Right. I don't know if I can take 2 years of pins and needles praying he doesn't get another concussion. I was just starting to cut back my drinking. Looks like that'll be on a 2 year hiatus.

Mayfield's style of play does not translate into the NFL.On the other hand, I would be surprised if Baker is much of an NFL talent, in which case, college is all he has left. Might as well squeeze blood out of that turnip.
