New Year’s Eve: What’s on the menu?

Bedtime at 10pm. Let the amateurs have had it.
Just had some chicken thighs with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots.
Mucinex and Nyquil. I've got the mother of all head colds. Can't believe the Birds lost that game today.
Nothing planned or prepared. Whatever I see in the fridge in about an hour. I'll be asleep before the Ball drops.

Had some Stone Crab and salad. I’m not a huge fan of Stone Crab (much prefer Blue Crab) but I get it once or twice a year.

Alaskan King crab, coleslaw, 460 bread, and Asti Spumanti to wash it down. Key lime pie for dessert later.
Had an early dinner out . Bluecoat Gin with Fever Tree tonic , Mushroom soup , beef tartare, filet with a Cab, and peanut butter chocolate cheesecake with an Irish coffee for dessert .
Brie, Cesar salad, lobster tail and filets. Bottle of Domaine LeSeurre Heritage and tiramisu for dessert. Tomorrow pork spare ribs, sauerkraut and potatoes in the crock pot.
We changed it up and had the traditional New Years meal of Pork and Sauekraut a day early.
A couple varieties of mini quiche (smoked salmon, mushroom feta, etc)
A crockpot of Reuben dip with toasted rye squares
BBQ meatballs
Crab hushpuppies w/ tartar or remoulade
Charcuterie board with 5-6 aged cheeses, variety of meats, crackers, dips, etc.

Started the New Year right. Just finished some of the blueberry scones and assorted other pastries and danishes with two cups of coffee. I’ll head out for a long walk soon. Then it will be jumbo shrimp and salad in the afternoon while watching Liverpool v. Newcastle and football playoff horse-a$$.
