Are these the New Years Day Bowl games on TV, or are they re-airing the IHSA State Finals?

bowl game blowouts.....so many, and so boring....is there an answer, or maybe it's "what difference does it make?" to coin a famous phrase...many of the fans travel to warm weather destinations, make the trip into a vacation, the sponsors get some advertising time, and.....who even remembers what team won what bowl (other than the national championship)

It's just one year of blowouts, it is what it is. I don't like how they have it set with conference standings automatically putting teams in (ACC #5 vs Big Ten #5...something along those lines). Just pick the best match ups. ND vs OSU is a good example, even though OSU made them like it, still a great match up. It is what it is though, there were great games last year, wouldn't read too much into these blow outs.

As for the top 4 playoffs, I hope they keep it at 4. I don't think they will, too much $ to be made with 6 or 8 teams. Although, I heard the ratings were down BIG TIME for the 2 games. They won't have it on NYE next year, too many people out doing stuff. New Years Day is the way to do it. I didn't even watch the Bama/MSU game, was at dinner.

Way too many bowl games and too many that are too meaningless to most fans. And then some teams haven't played a game in 20-30 days. Not exactly a lot of good football being played. Four week 16-team tournament for the national championship for some good football, fun, drama and excitement. All the other teams can then go heal, train and hit their books.
