As a serious one, I am going to try to drink nothing but water while at work. If I can actually do it I'll probably lose 20 pounds. I like my soft drinks.

You know, I know people that lost 10-20 pounds and they said all they did was quit drinking sodas. I tried that in 2018, had one soda in 4 months and gained a pound.

I should probably make one (resolution) to start drinking water daily, I may drink water once every 3 or 4 weeks (seriously). Milk, Grapefruit juice, ICE drinks, Isopure protein drinks, beer, and Coke zero with rum are my normal drinks. Wife has been harping on me for to drink water for a while now. Most days, I don't drink anything at work. Get too busy and don't think much about it. Our office works through lunch and we just grab food/snacks as we go.

I once went to the doctor for an extreme pain in my leg that wouldn’t go away. He couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me, but then asked if I were dehydrated. I thought about it for a second, and realized I hadn’t had anything to drink but coffee and beer for a full week. Drank a bunch of water and the pain went away immediately.

I had knee surgery over the break, depending how long it takes me to recover, I’d like to do a some kind of running event, maybe a 10k or half marathon. I also have one to see how long I can go without yelling at my kids. A marathon might be easier.

Quit drinking during UK games. Three in a row. First one was hard but not since.

Just keep reminding yourself that research has determined that drinking two or more soft drinks per week raises your risk of developing pancreatic cancer by 87%. That's a pretty good deterrent.

One good kidney stone attack and I guarantee that you'll start drinking water like a maniac. After my last stone, which I was hospitalized for three days, my Urologist told me to drink 96 ounces of water a day to prevent it from happening again. I try to spread it out over the day but so far it's worked.

It won't work if you keep replacing it with beer.
