I don’t have any reason to like or dislike John, minus the UofL connection, but I hope he takes them to the cleaners.
Seriously. Should get tons of money from this on top of criminal cases against those involved. I mean I can’t imagine this isn’t against the law.

I see Darren Rovell from ESPN might have had a hand in it, too. Should be fun to watch this unravel.

Does evidence still matter in this insane leftist controlled world? Not that I've seen. Their media spins the narrative and brainwashes the fanatical sheep with exactly what they want to hear. I'd like to see justice prevail, but not holding my breath.

That's a confusing write-up. It reads like something Schnatter's PR firm would write and put out. Definitely does not read like something a journalist would write. For one thing, it's too one-sided. And, at that, it's on the wrong side - you're not going to find anyone in media to defend someone accused of racism. That's a career-ending move. If it's not really news, and is just PR - it's not going to make much difference in anything.

It won't move the main stream pr needle that's for certain, but it will make hay in the courtroom. Extremely rare to have a recording of people setting someone up then celebrating after. They even set him for an interview with a prearranged hostile interviewer.

This is remarkable

Her name is "Negar"? That's pushing it.
I saw Jon Lovitz at Comedy Off Broadway tell a joke about that name. Lets just say he should be very happy that he wasn't being recorded.

Also the entire audience (including black people) laughed their asses off.

It's a press release, not a news article. That's why it appears one-sided - because it is.

What was their beef with JS in the first place that they would want to destroy him in that way? That's the kind of crap I don't understand.

I'm not sure. It does say that "Laundry Service was formerly employed by Papa Johns...." Maybe they had hard feelings about being let go???

The media needs to be held accountable for their actions. If there is a lawsuit that is justified, it needs to be made. People and other entities need to fact check and call outlets out on it as well.

Until people start going to prison for this kind of stuff including the media who will lie about anything because they know they are protected it will never stop. Financially, insurance companies will likely pay the piper and these scumbags will continue on.

I read somewhere years ago that most lawsuits end up getting settled out of court......thereby the outlets get off without being held accountable. It's really sad.

From what I have read the marketing group (Laundry Service) employeed a former Papa John executive and when they were being let go decided to lead the charge to smear John.
Not sure how one doucebag trying to get revenge on another douchebag is liberals or leftist, but nice effort to push your agenda on any and everything.

One thing that stinks is that after they got JS out they moved corporate to Atlanta. PJs did a lot of charitable things in Ky.
