What I’ve gathered is he wants the same Republicans in charge who created forever wars, hollowed out the US manufacturing base, sat on their hands while Democrats took over US institutions and not just the education system, and also had zero answers for the illegal aliens, border security, drug trafficking, Latin American gang activity in the US, etc. Trump needs to be blamed for our deficit despite every other President in recent memory running significant deficits and Congress voting for debt ceiling raises with regularity...but it's all on Trump. Somehow it’s Trump’s/MAGA’s fault the Republicans will lose the mid-terms. Doesn’t the party in power tend to lose seats in the mid-terms? This doesn't seem like sound reasoning to me considering the pretend Republican he voted for and supported in Texas threw the Texas Republicans under the bus by endorsing the transgender children pushing, vegetarian fake meat eater DSA Democrat. Who needs Democrats when you have Republicans like Cornyn, Tillis and Massie? How does one complain about Republicans losing the midterms while going out and voting against Republican candidates?

Are we not currently fighting a war in the Middle East? The only thing that unites Tillis and Massie is skepticism of Trump. Separately, “forever wars” were largely designed to stop more 9/11s.

And yes, I think populism is stupid ideas packaged for stupid people. Populism isn’t attacking the deficit, but Paul Ryan did. I was for lower spending for 20 years, and most Rs agreed, and then Trump came.

Trump is better for you on immigration. He’s basically less conservative on everything else.

DOGE was KABUKI theater, a complete fraud.

While DOGE claims hundreds of billions in revenue savings, verified, realized savings are far smaller — likely in the single‑digit billions range for contract cancellations alone, and even less when factoring in legal reversals, disputed methodology, and the difference between “ceiling” and “actual” spending www.us-debt-clock.com www.us-debt-clock.com+1.
In other words, the confirmed revenue saved by DOGE cuts is a small fraction of the agency’s public totals, and independent reviews caution that the headline numbers are not reflective of actual fiscal impact.

Trump Admin Paid Federal Workers Nearly $10 Billion Not To Work In 2025

One Democrat called Trump’s cuts to the federal workforce “the most expensive way imaginable to make government worse.”
The federal government paid employees nearly $10 billion not to work last year under cuts led by President Donald Trump’s infamous Department of Government Efficiency, according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office.
The GAO found that $6.7 billion of that money was paid out under the Trump administration’s “deferred resignation” programs, which encouraged workers to quit under the promise they would remain on the federal payroll for several months.

You act as if he is unfortunately stuck with the consequences of the war due to no fault of his. He started the damn war for no good reason.
Also why are you so sure the Dems wouldn’t ever nominate Shapiro?
You need to study the results of radioactivity.
