Harry Reid was a crook and influence peddler in Nevada.
A political contribution I made as a favor to the Reid re-election campaign was the reason I testified under grant of immunity to a Federal Grand Jury investigating his family.
My friend had some empty land on the strip that he wanted to develop into a hotel / casino.
Harry's Son was the Head of the Nevada Gambling Commission. It was though that one hand washes the other in Nevada.
The Grand Jury investigation scared my friend off and he sold the land at a profit.
Never heard another peep from the Grand Jury or any Fed.
How many families, both Dems and Reps can we name that enriched the family ?
Most Dems got rich, most Reps got richer.
The Dems new "word of the moment is Tent."
The old tents I used for Boy Scout camping ALL leaked !
We talked my Grandson # 1 from joining the Parachute Smoke Jumpers out West, for their hourly wage, after his tour in the Corps.
He graduates from college at the end of Summer semester as a Civil Engineer, with his company's starting salary pegged at $ 100,000 +.
Good news, the lefties are saving the planet and the Republic. Well done JeffT!
The deranged here love the Democrat party. Rill will never leave drougbt ridden Colorado since the new leaders will restore the Venezuelan gangs to their rightful place in Colorado as part of their NO ICE solution.
She should have been arrested for assault. What she did to Clark had nothing to do with basketball.
This is absolutely correct. There's a lot of changes relating to whom is having children coming over the next 25 years.
Far lower rates of children are being born into lower-level economic circumstances as well.
Yeah, I don't think Dems are headed towards competitiveness in Florida for a generation at this point. Will require coalitional shifts.
It also again shows how ridiculous the argument that "RDS only rolled in 2022 because he cleaned up the fraud" your buddies were making a few weeks ago. The state has undergone a profound GOP shift for quite awhile, but one that massively accelerated in 2020 for a host of reasons (Covid plus some of the geopolitics of Latin America).
This is what is happening in NY and elsewhere. Will parties realign or will we become Europe?
Looks like a great explanation of some who we have here.
Long time to go yet to get to November.
My two BIL's are in their early 90's and are in various stages of dementia or alzheimers.
Both in hospice care, both accumulated fortunes by real estate for 1 and the stock market for the other. Both became scratch golfers.
Such a shame.
Explore her X posts and read about the 56 signers of the Declaration !
Tell that to the hoards of illegal immigrants allowed by the Biden Administration.
Europe is following our lead by starting to now expelling hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants !
10,000 arrests is a drop in the bucket but still it is the law. Did Biden pardon himself and the auto pen? It was criminal to throw open our borders like the Dems(er Biden) did. But the media and Dems attack ICE for enforcing the law.

ICE surges enforcement, makes 10,000 arrests in five days amid Supreme Court birthright citizenship decision
ICE made over 10,000 arrests in five days as the Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment, rejecting Trump bid.

I love it. These petulant leftists don’t want to be held accountable for what they report/opine on, all because a new boss expects integrity.
Medicare to cover GLP-1 drugs for weight loss starting July 1. Here's what to know.
For the first time, Medicare will cover GLP-1 drugs prescribed solely for weight loss for eligible beneficiaries at a $50 monthly copay.

This is interesting to see. Going to see more and more doctors recommending this to people. Huge driver of health costs in the private insurance world. Doctors are recommending these drugs to a high % of people, saying the weight loss will lead to less heart disease, cancer, etc. Not sure we know the long term effects of taking these drugs. I do know that doctors are incentivized to prescribe them.
