I watched the first Texas/WVU game on my VCR the other day, for the first time. No. 1 Andrew Jones was the lone Pronghorn who made threes against the Old Fold & Blew in Morganhole. Crowd him on the perimeter, but let everybody else shoot from distance. Coleman & Ramey want to penetrate, and are good at getting into the lane, so make them shoot outside instead. Greg Brown is a five-star freshman big, who is more concerned about proving to NBA scouts that he can shoot threes than winning college basketball games. I'd let him shoot from distance all day. Jericho Sims, Texas' center, is just a big body. Texas' bench, other than Kai Jones, who also loves to drive to the hoop, is bad. Play a box-in-one or point drop against No. 1, and pack the paint against everybody else. "Hall of Famer" tHuggs will probably do something similar on Saturday. He'll also feature Culver on offense because Sims fouled out in 17 minutes played in the last game, and tHuggy will cry until Sims fouls out again on Saturday.
