FSU on the 9th, Duke on the 12th. HUGE week coming up for the cards. Obviously hope we win both, but not going to lie and say I wouldn't be happy with a split.

Win both and the Cards move up to (probably) the 2 line in the bracketology. Lose both and they're looking at a 6 to 9 seed. Got to stay in the ACC top 4 for that double-bye in the ACC tourney. That needs to be the short term goal IMO.

9 & 6 are right beside each other on the key board. :)

FSU is this Saturday the 9th in Tallahassee.
They beat Cuse last night in NY. Would be good road victory for the Cards.

Fixed, LOL. Lose both and I dont think we fall that far Cue. Lets hope we test either of our theories.

Agreed, OP. I'd be happy with a split too. Would love to shock everyone and beat FSU and Duke though. We'll see. One game at a time.

FSU gonna be a match up issue for some of our players especially forf our best shooters. Those guys will be a bit to athletic for Ryan to get his shots off. And Nwora has issues when athletic guys with length guard him also. these next two games the athleticism is going to be a real problem for this team. They really need to steal this Fl.St game. Cause the Duke game is pretty much spoken for.

If I understand the NET metrics correctly, if we're going to split it's better to beat FSU and lose to Duke (by less than 10)...you want to beat everyone you're supposed to beat and if you lose to who you are supposed to lose to it won't hurt your rating much b/c the loss is built into its assumptions.

Morgantown, in theory you would be correct, but a win over Duke would be monstrous. I dont think it really hurts us either way losing to one or the other, just not both.
