So I know as long as I’ve been on here this has surprisingly never been discussed... I feel it’s important to bring it up now! Who you got that you think will replace K when he calls it a day??? I’m going to say that guy that was at butler... brad something? Stephenson I think or maybe coach cal

Thanks pisgah. Dont know why it hasn't been dicussed before. Outside of the Duke family there's Brad Stevens, maybe Tony Bennett but I doubt it. Cal definately not. He is at the best and is the best . Just ask UK nation. Inside the Duke family there's Tommy Amaker, Johnny Dawkins, Quinn Snyder, Bobby Hurley, Jay Bilas, Jeff Capel, Shane Battier, Chris Collins , Steve Wojo, Jon Scheyer, Nolan Smith, Nate James, Chris Cardwell or even a current or future Dukie. Depending on when Coach K retires JJ Redick may be candidate. Even Christian Laettner may be interesting. There are a few guys that post here whom seem to know a lot about the game so if you of them tosses their hat into the ring and gets the job as an unknown (remember Coach K was a surprise ) we will know who he is because he will no longer post here. As for my favorite it swings from different candidates. My favorites are Hurley, Dawkins, Capel, Collins and Wojo but you just never know. OFC

I hope whoever it is demands that only Duke Blue and White colors are permitted to wear. No black, no camouflage., no steel blue or whatever that crappy color that is trendy now. If Nike doesn't like it the they an stuff it. OFC

My first choice would be Brad Stevens. My second choice (and more likely to happen) would be Jon Scheyer

We all know it's coming. We all know K is closer to the end than the beginning or the middle of his career for that matter. It's going to be tough when it happens. Been a fan since 9. I'm 42 now. Brad Stevens is probably the only guy that would allow me to brave that transition with confidence but it's sure to be a gut wrenching day regardless.
