Josh Pate says West Virginia’s Neal Brown could be the next coach to get the axe.

It just seems like the program is trending in the wrong direction. There is a lot of smoke up there that a move will be made by the end of the year. He is the only one at the Power Five level that I think is more likely than not.

At the same time,Mario Cristobal (Miami), Jimbo Fisher (Texas A&M), Steve Sarkisian(Texas) and Mel Tucker (Michigan State) all have short leashes heading into 2023.

While Chestnut, who played at WVU from 2012 to 2016, is far from the first person to call for Brown’s job, it is a bit different from a former player makes his feelings so clear in such a blunt manner
