One thing that stands out to me is that it’s really hard to find a perfect fit big man in the portal. How many guys from last year’s portal can shoot, play D, and rebound? It might be zero.

It’s also hard to do with high school recruiting. I don’t think there is anyone for 2025 who fits the bill.

You’ve got to either develop the player (maybe Garrison?) or find a guy who is about to take the next step.

I know it wasn’t an either/or thing but , I wish we had Saunders in Chandler’s spot.

If Chandler stays, I am glad we got him. I watched that BYU vs Kansas game from last year and I was not impressed. He did not seem to get a shot he didn’t like.

To be fair , I’ve only watched bits and pieces of BYU games . And not against great competition.
