Keep an eye out for Northumberland from the east. They have their qb returning who was amazing last year on both sides of the ball.
In no particular order from the East...Riverheads and Essex will be the top 2. A few solid teams making some noise will be Washington & Lee if they can tighten up their defense, Northumberland and you can’t forget about Colonial Beach.
You can never forget about colonial beach, they are always a threat. As for WnL it will be interesting to see how they do on offense replacing Bell at QB. He seemed to be the best player on offense and defense.
I was surprised at the number of underclassmen Essex had on the All-state teams. They do have to replace some key roles, but they're was plenty of young talent that got plenty of playing time last year. I look for #2 Banks and #7 Day to play big roles on offense next year and for #24 Dameron to have another big year. I expect #10 Ashlock to have a better year after a getting a years experience this season. The defense should be about the same as they were this year.

Sad to report Xcross but Sussex will be losing almost 20 Seniors so I guess they are done! I bet a several teams are banking on that..but I hope the young Tiger cubs will use it as motivation! #TigerPride
I was thinking Bell was a Jr. this year. That does change things with him being a Sr.
