This was a horrible constructed roster. If Pope gets another year there has to be someone hired to help put together a roster because I don’t think Pope or his staff is capable. A GM needs to be put in place.

I don’t remember seeing comments like yours prior to the start of the season. In fact, most were saying this team was loaded and Final Four bound. The major overwhelming factor in the horrendous play is the lack of team cohesiveness and rumors of the players not liking each other. It may just be a couple of players causing this turmoil. Regardless of who they are, Pope needs to suspend or get rid of them.

This, rather than lack of talent is the problem. We are getting blown out and there is little effort or desire evident. The cancer must be removed before we can go forward. It is unfortunate that the vast majority of players, in my opinion, are expending effort and must be as frustrated as the fanbase. Horribly constructed may be appropriate in regards to the personalities of the players brought into the program but not the talent level.

I think the majority of the fanbase were concerned we didn’t have shooters on this team. I do agree with you that a few players are disrupting the team.
