Miles might be a good player. That's fine, but other than Andra Franklin back in the 70's, I cannot recall a top level fullback NU has brought in from outside the midwest who was far and away better than what we have found close to home. Same goes for interior offensive linemen for that matter.

Avery has started going to work on Deontre via Twitter...time for the Cali boys and McQuitty to chime in as well since they met him at the Spring Game.

2 more crystal ball picks today from Michigan and Notre Dame guys. GBR
---Looks like Coach P is going to get his first commit and the Huskers beat Jim Harbaugh and Michigan head to head.

---Big recruiting victory for Coach P. One of the questions surrounding his hiring was could he recruit? Can he win the big recruiting battles?

---Coach P knows what NU is all about and played the position.

---All signs point to Deontre Thomas becoming a Husker.

---Expect the Huskers to take 5 DL: 3 DTs and 2 DEs. Expected to take two HS DTS and if you find the right one one JUCO DT. In addition add two DEs ot the class. In and ideal world and if numbers work you would take three DEs.

---Last DTs to commit were the Davis Twins in March of 2014.

---Expect the class to be low-end: 23-24 and high-end: 25-26. Of course things are very fluid. There could be more attrition, could be guys who transfer into the program, medical scholarships, Bottom line is there are going to be so many things that happen between now and NSD next February. Nate thinks at this point in time 24-25 is the safe number. With camp season coming up he believes the Huskers could be half way done with the class (12-13).

---Here is who he thinks the numbers will be for each position: QB 1 to 2.....RB 1.....TE/FB 3.....WR 4-5....OT 3..OG/C 2.....3 D....2-3 DE....LB 3.....CB 2....S 1 (big DB class last year)....might take a kicker this year too. From HOL Audio

I heard that he is going to announce tomorrow on 'The Legends Radio Show.' That has to be a good sign....

Anything other than a Nebraska commitment would be extremely poor form by this kid, and he would get lit up like a Christmas tree on social media.
