Going for 4th and 1 on your own side of the field and failing to get it with your first possession seems a little reckless.

It was close to midfield so I get it--I wouldn't be giving the Rams a short field that early but I can't criticize
Panthers need a quick stop on this drive to get field position

I’m late to the party but looked over the play-by-play. Charlotte’s on their third possession now, they better make it count.

Nerves. Odd saying that for a pro team. Hyped up.

Plus no Dowdle yet which really hurts Young - needs a run game to play action.

Dowdle is hurt. That’s huge for Carolina. Hubbard is serviceable but not a good situation.

The refs bailed them out. That was some piss-poor play calling down near the goal line. I’m not saying the pass interference call was incorrect, just that Carolina got saved by the flag.

Yeah, definitely helped--I agreed with the call but agree with you the play calling was pathetic

I understand why McVay went for 4th & 3--that's what they do and they have Stafford
I'd have kicked the FG there though
Carolina has a chance to make this a game

I never liked him as a QB going back to his college days at Georgia. I always saw him as a choke artist. They were lucky to win that Super Bowl in ‘22.

Not sure what you're being critical of Stafford right now but okay, you're entitled to that opinion
He's a champ that's a HOF lock so...
He's way better than guys like Rivers for example

Just a very weird game. Rams needed to end them when they had the shot early--now it's going to be a battle to the end
