No stats today for JJTBC.
No stats for Bennett Skowronek either. I didn’t realize that he had made the Rams, but he did. He went 3-30 on Halloween against Houston, and had a catch for eight yards two weeks ago against the 49ers.

He’s also got six special teams tackles on the season.

Good for him.

Yep, but according to some of the luminaries on this Board he wasn't good enough to start for ND. He did, and had a nice season. Of course these same folks said he wasn't good enough to be drafted in the NFL. He was, albeit in the 7th round. And, of course, he certainly wasn't good enough to MAKE an NFL team. He did, and has a a few contributions to his credit. Maybe some of our hotshot talent evaluators aren't quite as astute as they think they are. Or, could it be that they couldn't get over the fact that Ben did a graduate transfer year at ND to enhance his chances of making the NFL?

Ben is hurt and was inactive today. They could have used him, Rams WRs have been decimated by injuries.

I was never bitter about Benedict doing what he did by transferring. I was disappointed that he was a captain who quit on his team early in 2019.

Just imagine if he had returned to NU in 2020 and been a key contributor, flourished in Jake’s system with Ramsey throwing the ball, and potentially helping us beat dOSU. He would have been drafted higher.
