That's about right. Other than Treadwell at 15 I've seen Conklin and Stanley but most saying Stanley would have to fall and won't.
Based on that I've seen Jason Spriggs OT from IU if Treadwell is the pick but Mackenzie DB from Clemson if Conklin/Stanley.
After that those two picks they just got is a mix of Sheperd, OL or LBs.
You have to stock up on OL this year and leave yourself open for two defensive studs in the first next year.
The staff may prefer Conklin over Stanley. I know several teams do. Stanley is the better athlete and is better in pass pro but Conklin is the nasty "road grader." With Mularkey's desire to run the ball a lot they may prefer Conklin outright.
Some interesting names I'm torn on for 2nd rd picks. Spence out of EKU and Smith out of ND. Spence had major off-field issues at OSU hence the transfer to EKU. Because of this he may fall to the 2nd. Has he cleaned up? He's a top 10 talent. Jaylon Smith would've been a top 3 pick in this draft if it weren't for his medical. He had an ACL surgery and suffered some nerve damage. They say that he may not be able to play this yr or at all. He could play any of our LB positions and is an absolute stud. If medical checks out I'd wouldnt cry if they took him and sat him for a yr.
I like the idea of getting a couple stud defensive players for next yr. We were a borderline top 10 overall defense this past yr. It wouldn't take much to push us up a few spots. May even get there this yr with an improved offense and good draft......and, of course, LeBeau now calling the plays. Jabril Peppers out of Michigan looks interesting. He's like Ramsey in that he's a crazy versatile athlete. UM has used him mainly as a S/CB, they've also lined him up as a RB, WR, wildcat QB, and PR/KR. And he's darn good at it all.
Also next yr's RB draft class is loaded. Fournette, Chubb, Cook just to name a few. With Murray pushing 30 and only a few yrs left on his deal, I'd be ecstatic with another major RB signing.
Probably the downside of trading with the Rams is where we will be picking next yr. They are a good team that most likely will be in the 8-10 win range next yr which means we will be picking in the high teens or low 20s with our additional pick. I figure we'll get about 6 wins next yr and thus land around the 8-12 range with our other pick. If we would've traded with the 49ers we would've gotten less altogether but probably picked top 5 next yr easily.
