I could agree with that but you know once a coach is paid a certain amount the pull they have over a GM makes a decision or two.

Ultimately the coach gets the blame faster than a GM, and there is the problem.

I'm just glad to be out of this top 10 but have the pieces to move back up if need be. I'd much rather move pick 43 and 45 to move back into the first round and have 3 pick in the top 33.

Although it sounds like Conklin may move up in projections I'm still confident the Titans can and will crush this draft.

Cleveland possibly trading down again and Tennessee is interested since they want a swap of 1st and picks next year.

If the right guy is there to get him!

Browns should trade down as far as they can. If people want their first and second rd picks this year then get rid of them. Stock pile picks for the next two years and start drafting the right guys (WR's, OL, DL, LB)
I along with other Browns fans have suffered long enough watching QB after QB get drafted with the first or second pick and not have anything around him to do his job. Tom Brady nor Manning could win with the team Cleveland has had the past 15 years.

You can not just move the picks in the second round. They mean to much and Tenn can build a championship type team soon if they draft right these next 2 years. In fact the draft picks IMO until the 6th round mean alot.

You may have two starters in the second if you guys are picking 43 and 45. So thats 15, 43, 45, in the first two rounds? Damn they could in up with the best draft.

I get what you are saying and don't disagree. I'm just saying that the Browns are in such bad shape, why not sell as much as you can this year "tank" and acquire as many picks as you can for next year and the year after and really build a team.

Because if you did that, everyone in the organization would get fired. It may be good to trade down, but they still need a lot of talent this season to combine with the talent they acquire in future drafts.

Would they though? I mean even in the couple of the years they have traded away their 1st rd pick and "built" for the season and seasons ahead, how well did that work? Why not go ahead and admit what everyone knows, this season is a lost cause. Stock pile for the future and bank everything on starting with next years draft.
I know it's unorthodox and probably violates some NFL bylaws or something, but nothing they have done up to this point has worked.

The truth is they want as many 1st round picks next year as possible to leverage their way into that Clemson QB. Anyone denying this is an idiot liar.

Their plan is to trade down and hopefully gather enough picks to add depth this year because everyone says this draft is a great draft class but it is deep. Then they are hoping like hell some of these picks they get for next year will give them what it takes to trade into #1 if they don't get it outright.

Believe me if the right guy is there for us we will give that STL #1 or our #2 next year and swap this years 1st rounders to move back up. Too many teams are really starting to float it out that they like our top 2 on the board.

Yeah, makes perfect sense. I'm just a jaded Browns fan willing to sell the farm for the future. lol

What other QB's are set to come out next year besides the big guy from Clemson? Won't have to worry about him being the top pick though if Fournette has another year like last year.

I honestly do not have a clue who else is coming out but that's what this boiled down to for Cleveland. Do they want Wentz, still suck and be in a spot where they have Watson sitting there for the taking and look stupid because they have Wentz in training. The answer is to remove themselves from Wentz being an option.

Another crazy idea (I'm full of them). What's another two years of suffering for a fan base that has suffered for decades? Why not do the same thing next year and continue building a TEAM and shoot for the QB in year 3? You have RG3 on the roster for two years, and a couple back ups. Why not build a solid foundation, with weapons to where the future QB has a much better chance of success and a career without needless injury?

Essentially that's what this does. My guess is they know who they'd like to start with this year but aren't 100% sure how far to drop.

On another note I've seen where Tennessee is absolutely in love with Doctson and may take him #1 if they stay at 15 and hope Spriggs makes to their 2nd round pick.

We have contacted Normans agent but aren't considered a top choice, but we need secondary help so using the first two picks on offense will be kind of shocking.

Doctson, Spriggs would be a great first two pics for Titans. CBS reporting Bradford "likely" to ask for trade. I think the Eagles will oblige. Too much contract.

Norman is a playmaker. 15 million or more plus questionable locker room impact make it tough for any team, but he can ball. Many teams will have no problem with these factors.

In today's lesson in bad timing. This went out on Tunsels Twitter account a half hour before the draft.

Go ahead and credit the cowboys with the worst possible pick ever and drafted way too high. With the exception of Eddie George osu running backs blow along with all big ten running backs

Tennessee with a great pick! So happy to have a smart team.

No doubt Detroit takes a WR

I'm watching on NFL.com and the announcer seems to have no clue about the tweet, says doesn't understand why Jack Conklin went ahead of Tunsil, something must be going on. heh

Damn. That's real. His agent is saying he was hacked. [roll]

10 minutes before the draft.....that's not real. Not saying he isn't capable but it's his Twitter and no way he was in the green room tweeting that.

The video is of him, he removes the mask and shows his face.

I recreated this account to publicly apologize for the recent video posted. I promise to work hard on and off the field. #NFLDraft2016

It was him in HS.....5 years ago.

Good for Miami, smart pick! Sabah even came over to congratulate hi in the green room.

To get the #1 projected player at 13 is great for Miami.

Good for him.
