Miami had traded down with Philly from #8 to #13 for Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell. So basically they turned the #8 pick into Laremy Tunsil, Kiko Alonso, and Byron Maxwell. 3 starters 1 pick i'll take it.

Titans with some interesting picks. Many pegged Dodd as a 1st rd pick.....he will likely slim down to play OLB for us. Johnson is a really solid 5-technique which was greatly needed. He was a 1-2nd rd grade.

Henry is a bit of a head scratcher. You just brought on Murray and his big contract. And next yr's draft is crazy deep with RB talent. I would've went WR or DB here instead of Henry.

Byard is a ball hawk. Most NFL teams have moved away from "free and strong" safeties.....instead, they're going with 2 coverage safeties since teams are passing more and more. That's what the Titans did here. Byard's turnover production was one of the highest of all safeties. He's underrated and has massive potential.

Overall it's not the route I'd go and I think we missed some guys that I would've gone for, but it's not a bad draft.

I will say that J-Rob has chosen guys that are all known for high character, motor, and low injury history. I wonder if guys like Spence were on their board or not.

I agree, I wanted them to take Myles Jack so bad but I like Dodd too.

I was shocked by Henry but getting him this year in the 2nd round allows both of our 1st round picks next year to finish stocking the defense with high end talent.

What concerns me is Jax is crushing this draft, good lord!

^Jax is doing well. Darn it.

I like where we are heading though. Indy is built more like the sports car of the AFC South. They will pass a lot, use smaller/faster players. Jax is becoming fairly balanced. Good defense, balanced offense. Houston is starting to move away from being the physical rushing attack with good defense. There's potential for the Titans to become the bullies of the division.

If you want to beat Luck, Bortles then don't let them have the ball. Monopolize possessions.....and then abuse them on defense.

It's a sound plan....lets hope it works.

Well it isn't going to be a 1-2 year fix, but they are fixing combined strategies in the best way possible. Needed to sell tix and have a franchise QB, boom! Need to protect said QB and improve the run game, boom!

Along the way piece by piece improve the defense too and the management has been solid.

I just wanted Jack because he is a beast and now he is in Jax which made it worse.

Yea but we didn't have a shot at him. I liked trading down and adding value thru more picks.

I'm not too worried about Jax but they will be much improved with Ramsey, Fowler and Jack added from last years team.

Just took a look at the draft today. Good Lord, how in the world did Ohio State ever manage to lose a game last year, TWELVE friggin picks in the first four rounds, and that does not even count Noah Spence, who could have been on their roster as well.

Because like their #1 player said the coaches were idiots and trying to be cute instead of winning ball games.

Elliot was pissed after the game they lost and swore he was gone. It might of been right after and raw emotion but he was out from that point no matter what.

Titans once again go with a high character, high work ethic guy. Sharpe is exactly what we need. Fantastic route runner with glue hands. Solid pick.

Ohio State should have been in the semi finals. They deserved it over Oklahoma and I think they would have beaten Alabama.

They lost on a last second field goal after the coaches had a stupid strategy. They had just as much right to be included in the college football playoff as Alabama did, who got beat by Ole Miss.

I agree. It's hard to see picks of which I know nothing about but that's probably best since the big names usually have baggage.

If we grab scooby wright or Eric striker like we are supposed to it will be good.

Tennessee is drawing good reviews from both NFL Network and ESPN. They feel we are really going extremely physical. We're gonna beat people up. Casserly from NFL is really impressed. Feels Henry will start before the yr is over.

Nope. Oklahoma is a traditional dump and choke artist. Ohio State was easily one of the four most talented in the nation. None of you thought they were as good as Alabama the previous year and OSU got em.

None of the things you mentioned are relevant to their "right to be included" They were the 3rd best team in their own conference.

Yea I don't understand Billijgs slipping so far. Solid draft for the Bengals.

Really a few teams really did well in this draft that I didn't expect.

Ohio State lost to Michigan State thus they did not make the playoff.

Easy to look back but at the time Oklahoma was on a hot streak and some computers had them 1 or 2.

I think the Bengals have had a solid draft as well. Guys are just falling to them.
Yup. Several complementary players also.
They don't have huge holes to fill anymore signing LaFell and Dansby, then guys like Shaun Williams are patiently waiting for their opportunity. They've built solid depth over the past 7 years which has led to more consistency in all 3 phases.

alonso is worthless and maxwell's contract makes him arguably worse than that

don't know what the hell they were thinking moving down 5 spots for that, but they ended up getting the best player in the draft
