Steelers need an ILB to replace Ryan Shazier.
Josh needs to fall to the Bengals. Else LB, OL, DL and a backup TE and RB.
I’ve never been a fan of Oakland but I am fascinated with how Gruden transforms this team into his own. Not sold he is the genius they think he is.
I understood getting rid of Cooper, but Mack was just stupid!
Titans
Top needs (in no order): OC/OG, Outside WR (particularly a deep threat), TE, OLB, DL
So, let’s go through them one by one.....again in no order.
1. OC/OG - signing Saffold really helps. Jones has been ok at OC when he has help at OG. So we could get by with drafting a OC or OG. Interior OL don’t get as much love in the draft. Over 50% of the best 20 OGs and 20 OCs came from rounds 3-UDFA. So, do the Titans need go OL in rounds 1-3? Nope. However, Bradbury in the first is about as safe a pick as you can make. He can play OC/OG and should be a fantastic fit. It wouldn’t be sexy, but it would be solid. That being said, there are some great choices in rd 2-3 if they want to choose higher in the draft.
2. WR - There are only 3 WRs worthy of the first rd. Metcalf is a project. He can only run 3 routes and isn’t very good at them. He doesn’t have a lot of college production due to injuries. All of these things the Titans GM Jon Robinson despises. One of his first acts as GM was to dump Dorian Green-Beckham. So, I’d be surprised if Metcalf is a choice. Then you have the Brown’s. A.J. does everything well, but nothing spectacular. I wouldn’t mind A.J. but I’d rather us trade down and then grab him. Hollywood is absolutely electric. He’s a deep threat, great route runner, blah, blah, blah. He has 2 minuses.....his size and recent injury. If we choose a WR at #19, I’d imagine it’d be Hollywood. In the 2nd you could look at someone like Deebo Samuel.
3. TE - We need a TE, but do we need a first rd TE? TE is a position that often doesn’t make a huge, huge impact as rookies. Hockenson is like Witten. He’d be a slam dunk pick.....but I doubt we sniff him. Fant is a fair choice....but I wonder who we would be choosing him over. Id probably take any of the Clemson 3 than Fant. Then there’s Smith. Then only way I’d choose Smith is if I traded down past #25. There are some good looking 2-3rd rd TE prospects.
4. OLB - Right now we have Landry which hasn’t even played a full season and Wake who is a situational player at this stage of his career. We need someone else desperately. And OLB/pass rushers go very early in the draft. If someone like Ferrell, Sweat, or Burns fall to us I think they have to be high on your list......at the very least consider it greatly. If not in rd one, then a guy like Winovich would be a nice choice.
5. DL - This draft is very deep on the DL. Now this could mean you could wait.....or it could mean that you have the option to take value wherever it presents itself. Wilkins or Lawrence would be great choices at #19. But there are great choices throughout the draft.
With multiple options that “could” occur at #19, I would like the Titans to examine trading down.....picking up an extra 3rd pick or something. However I lean OLB, DL, or IOL in the first rd.
Dammit. I was going to say that. You’re absolutely right.Bengals need a damn owner.
The titans drafted Rashard Evans last year too, and he is a solid OLB to go opposite of Landry.
I agree on DL, but Corey Davis is a legit #1 but Mariota is t a great enough QB to use him as well as we should.
That’s why I want Irv Smith Jr. he is a Wideout in A TE body. Mariota was great when Walker was his main target opening up the field. That too will help Davis.
Steelers need an ILB to replace Ryan Shazier.
Thoughts Evans was an OLB, sounds like I’m wrong.
I don’t think they keep Mariota regardless. If they extend him it’s going to cost s fortune as he is 20M this year. Risk/Reward isn’t there regardless of potential. We got Tannehill to have a legit backup when(not if) Mariota is down.
LB is a huge need now that I look at it. Wake/Woodyard are both close to retirement I’d guess.
Last mock I saw had us taking Garret Bradbury(OG) at 19 and D’andre Walker(LB) at 51.
That’s 2 solid additions you can pencil in as starters. The issue is most of our needs are something, like you said, we could easily drop back for and add a pick.
Lonnie Johnson is projected late 2nd early 3rd round pick.
I’d like the titans to take Irv Smith Jr.
I’ve never been a fan of Oakland but I am fascinated with how Gruden transforms this team into his own. Not sold he is the genius they think he is.
Cowboys need a strong safety and defensive tackle.
I know he is, but some scouts are in love with his size, speed, and intangibles. One scout said while he has him 2nd / 3rd round, he could sneak into the 1st round. He has a lot of buzz leading up to the draft. Not saying he will go 1st round, just saying people think he could.
Oh I get it, I’d love him on the Titans but it isn’t realistic.

I agree completely on the linebacker. I'd draft linebacker if either White or Bush was available. I wouldn't spend the first round pick on a quarterback, as they have too many other needs. O-line, and tight end are big needs as well. The Bengals need a damn linebacker. Either of the Devins would be great. They might draft QB though or maybe left tackle. I hope they just do anything but stand pat. Trade up or trade down please.
Just stop it Krazy!! :grimace:Man, Benny in Baltimore would be a fantasy dream!
He could beat them up, and Lamar would run right past them.
:grimace:Ravens need to get younger defensively, tool up the offensive line.
Would like to address the WR, but with Lamar handed the keys to the offense obviously Mark Ingram was the biggest pick up.
Really think Benny Snell would be a great addition.
