As in Josh Allen? Zero chance he makes it past 6th.

Giants: trade up to get Kyler. Trade OBJ picks to get Josh Allen. Need WR and they are plentiful in mid-late rounds.

Saquon and Kyler in backfield would be a defenses nightmare.

You guys fail to recognize the complete incompetence of David Gettleman. Why do something smart when he can throw the whole draft away with the first pick? Should have taken Allen at 6. Jones would have still been available at 17. Or any number of quarterbacks that are at least Jones quality or better.

The process of tnking for the top pick in next years draft started last night for the Giants.

I turned out to be wrong, as is the case more often than I care to admit lol.

Oakland had a head-scratcher as well. I guess teams were a bit gun-shy drafting from non-traditional football school.

As for tanking, Not sure why the Giants would have wasted a pick on Jones. WHy draft a QB? If they're afraid of winning games by drafting a guy like Allen or Oliver, just dump the pick.

I thought my Skins did an outstanding job in the 1st round. Haskins is the guy they wanted and getting him at 15 was a steal...especially considering the fact that they were contemplating trading up to the #3 spot to get him. Glad they didn't.

~~~ AND ~~~
The Skins got Montez Sweat at 26 which I thought was a good pick. Probably the 3rd best edge rusher in the draft behind Bosa and Allen. As long as the heart issues don't resurface...this could be an outstanding pick. Worth the gamble IMHO.
Agreed, the Skins did a great job. A healthy Sweat might turn out to be the best pass rusher in the draft period. Getting Haskins at 15 was awesome.
Pretty happy with the best OL-man in the draft. Fills a huge need although I thought Josh might fall to them for a second.
My Steelers made a pretty bold trade to move up ten spots to fill their most glaring hole on the defense with Devin Bush. They paid a fair bit but they had 10 picks in this year's draft. They still have two picks tonight thanks to the Antonio Brown trade.
Jets follow it up with two picks for guys with high talent but suspect character. Both fell 20 to 30 spots for that reason.. We'll see how that plays out.
Bengals sitting on a total of 10 picks for day three of the draft. They still need a D lineman, another LB, a QB and a decent RB. Hoping they trade a few picks to get into position for an impact player or two. Would do the dance of joy if they pick Benny as their RB.
<> Benny still on the block. Somebody is going to get one helluva RB for a great price.
<> The Pats have had 5 picks in the first 3 rounds and still haven't taken a TE. Wonder what Bill has up his sleave?
<> I think the Rams have had a good draft thus far. Especially considering they didn't have any first round picks. Was surprised to see them take that RB from Memphis. He is good...not contesting that. Just that now I'm guessing Gurley's knee is much worse than I thought. Or maybe it's just an insurance pick. Who knows? Draft logic is crazy sometimes with these GM's.
Boom!
Titans got the LBer in the 5th round that we were projected to take in the 2nd.
Nothing too sexy except maybe AJ Brown, but we crushed this draft!
To the original question asked in the thread title...I say my Skins addressed all of their needs and in the process got great value with several of their picks. Specifically...I think Haskins, Sweat & the two WR's (Harmon in the 6th might even wind up being better than the kid from tOSU that they got in the 3rd) were all good value picks that addressed very specific needs for the Skins in "immediate impact" positions.
Some of the other dudes they took I don't know much about other than we needed help at those positions and we filled those voids.
Time will tell of course...but overall I give my Skins an "A" for this draft. Haven't been able to say that in a long, long time.
