That's insane. I know the NFL is all about expanding the brand but I guarantee coaches and players aren't happy about flying 20 plus hours to play one damn game. Crazy jet lag.

I wonder how the players feel about it.. I wonder if they don't hate it... I think a lot of them will embrace this opportunity and will look back on it 20 years from now , as one of the cooler things they did in the NFL

I have no idea. I've not heard a single interview about it.. .I just wonder if they kind of like it actually??

.. not saying they want to make a habit of it , but if they only did it once in their career???

Im sure they have to tow the company line. But anyone who has ever flown 20 plus hours it sucks. Takes a few days to get over the jet lag. Fvcks up your body clock big time.

Cry me a river. It isn't like they are flying Sun Country. Hopefully they can survive on 9 straight nights of rest in their mansions.

The Rams did a little mock travel experiment earlier in the offseason where they sent some staff and random players over to test out if getting there early or getting in and out fast was better. They determined this way was the best route.

Wednesday game because they had the Australian (Thursday night) game planned for quite awhile. Then the Seahawks won the Super Bowl and the NFL wanted to keep the tradition of having the champs kick off the season. So we get a Wednesday.

Darnold out on the 5th play of the game. My NFL season might be over before it started. And on a Wednesday!

They had my Packers play on some shiit soccer field in Brazil a few years ago. Not worth the injuries to fly half way around the world to play a game that will sell out in the good old USA.

If watching a super bowl rematch on a Wednesday, and Rams/Niners on Thursday is ruining the NFL, well then burn it down. Let me go on record as saying I also can't wait for the night before Thanksgiving Packers/Rams game. NFL is dialed in.
Packers play on Thanksgiving. Thats tradition. Not Wednesday night. Gay.

Pats need this game. You knock out Darnold on first drive and don't capitalize... with that schedule?? Doesn't bode well.. we will see

That was a really bad mistake and Collinsworth is laying into him. CC always brings it and doesn't hold back.

Maye was was pretty stellar on that drive prior to that pass.

The NFL is always trying to expand its reach. But I can’t see any scenario by which they add teams and put some of them in foreign countries.

What traditon? Piggybacking off the Lions and Cowboys? Packers played 6 times on Thanksgiving from 2010 - 2025. One of those was an Amazon game against the dolphins, which I'm sure you despise.

Anyone complaining about this Thanksgiving slate is just being dramatic:
Packers/Rams
Bears/Lions
Eagles/Cowboys
Chiefs/Bills

That is an absolute home run.
