So if you’re the Raiders your difference between Darnold and Stafford is $10 million, which you get by cutting the great Minshew.

So between those two it seems obvious.

I’d still take Wilson while drafting a QB though.

Darnold would be playing in a similar system with McVay as he did in Minnesota. Darnold thrived in that offense. The big key is Darnold plays bad when under pressure. He didn't really have a chance in that playoff game. The Rams would do fine with him but they have to improve their offensive line and get him another WR.
he got progressively worse as the season wore on and teams had more film on him.

i just don't see him being the guy to get in done, not in today's league.

I think he's in the bottom 1/3 tier of starting QBs, but he apparently has all of the traits teams are looking for. Some analyst said Darnold played exceptionally well when he wasn't under constant pressure. So if he goes to a team that can run the ball well and pass block, I think he's worth signing but not to a blockbuster contract. I like him better than Cousins, Rodgers, Fields and Russell Wilson. There's not a lot of options out there. Maybe the Giants give him a shot. Their coach is supposedly a QB guru.

Seahawks saw Sam Darnold's game against the Rams (with an elite WR corp, mind you) and said "yeah we need that twice a year at least"
