This is really an absolute farce. Having zero "positive" tests is an impossibility. Might as well just not play. Meanwhile the game of football is shortening your life 20 years

I think the problem is that the NFL isn't being played in a bubble, and it's also a sport that has a lot of contact physical contact unlike baseball... MLB NBA and NHL had a few things going for it that the NFL doesn't have.

Still, it's only 1 game a week and a lot of testing.. I'm surprised they haven't gotten a better hold on this. They might need to take further precautions. I don't know about anyone else.. but with the winter coming, I NEED something like football to get me through it lol.

you don't need these brats you can find other things to do. I know I have. I love playing fantasy and that's the only reason I care. But this hysteria over covid is ruining that now too

If they wat all teams to play a 16 game schedule this coud go out until 2022. I have no idea who would be the 2021 champion.

Still don't get why they don't just extend the season by a month to provide some buffer for small outbreaks. If shortening the season is so bad, then just push it back a bit next year.

Apparently the NFL has booked up all the hotels they use for the Super Bowl until a month after it's scheduled to play. I know there would be plenty of logistical issues, but I don't see why they couldn't add an extra 1-2 buffer weeks to allow for any makeups before starting the playoffs.

Patriots had another positive test this morning, their game against the Broncos has been postponed.

The Titans had a coach test positive this morning as well. They were scheduled to play the Bills Tuesday night and I doubt that game is played now. Will be interesting to see if the NFL adds on any extra week 18 for makeup games or goes with just outright cancelling the game (or playing still, though I have to imagine that's unlikely given how many positive the Titans have had).

Some rich irony in how they are handling the Covid related to the concussion stuff few years ago. But, it’s just all political BS. Sports used to be above politics I used to think. Not anymore.

I agree it’s absurd they are canceling games bc a practice player and asst coach tested positive. The way this entire thing has been handled has made me totally lose respect for all of those who have instituted this draconian polices. And they will never have my political support again in any fashion.

I quit watching at halftime because I was afraid I would see a QB die on the field, GD, but surely the Bengals have the worst offensive line in the NFL. I have never seen anything like it. It seems impossible that a pro team could have five guys that absolutely cannot block the other teams defensive line, but that was the story in Baltimore today.

Yeah. I like Tee Higgins, and it's clear we are going to have to jetison AJ, but I still would have used that 2nd rd pick last year on the OL. Hell...we ABSOLUTELY should have done it the previous year instead of getting Sample at TE. Time will tell what we do this draft and offseason FA. OL, and our aging D need to be the focus.

The whole thing is beyond idiotic at this point. We have more than enough data at this point to determine Covid is not an imminent threat to over 99% of the population. While it's unfortunate it presents a slightly higher risk of death than the flu (about 0.9% for flu v 3% for Covid)....that % only applies to a number of less than 1% of the population.....making it a very, very, very small number of people who are actually THAT at risk.

Thinking of grabbing Tee Higgins for fantasy simply cause of AJs injury. Thoughts as a Bengals fan?

How about Dalton leading Dallas now.. lol. Weird times.

And as for the thread and checking in, the NFL is fine. The Jets player turned out to be a false positive, and everything else seems to be isolated incidents and contained. Teams are gonna use their upcoming Byes, and the NFL will move games and playoffs if needed. Season won't be cancelled.

Tyler Boyd stands to be the biggest beneficiary of AJ being on the sideline for us I'd think. Tee will get some more targets I'm sure, I guess it would depend on what you're trying to do there....if AJ was your WR1 option I don't think Tee would be the guy to get. Frankly AJ has been garbage as our WR1 option and its past time to trade him, but I digress. If you're needing a WR3 with some potential upside then yeah, Tee could be a great get. He's the future so we need to start targeting him more. I will add though, our next four are Indy, Cleveland, Tennessee and Pittsburgh. I don't expect us to win any of them lol

As for Andy, I'm hyped. He handled his business the right way in Cinci, took us to the playoffs 5 times. By all accounts he was a good dude in the locker room and did a lot in the community as well. One of those guys you just root for. He's a Texan, so getting to start for the Cowboys I'm sure is a dream come true. Glad for him and even though I don't care for the Cowboys I hope he takes them to playoffs. I'll be rooting for him!

210 days of America held hostage by this novel... trump is now embracing the propaganda of fauci vaccine mandates and big pharma based on his latest ad. Not good
