Is the product that bad? Or just our teams?

IDK.. There's nothing different to me other than more evenly matched teams. There's gonna be some GREAT late season football with almost every division going down to the wire.

Id rather have this than 2-3 teams go for 14 wins..

The teams are bad.

I hope there will be some great action rather than close games between bad teams.

People tune in for superteams. Mostly to see them get tested or lose. That is hurting the ratings a lot IMO.

The big market teams are all down right now.

Add to that the amount of injuries and the product is a real **** show this year so far.

The NFL is boring as hell right now. So many bad teams with awful QB's, tons of penalties, rules that no one understands, etc.

It just sucks. Goodell is a truly awful commish.

Much of the bad play is the CBA that the players' union pushed for. They pushed hard to reduce the practice time and the way it's structured.

Titans really showing some promise.

Didn't see it coming so soon but looks good. For a team that is one of the youngest in the NFL and lacks WR and DB playmakers they're doing pretty good. With a good off-season they could really be playoff contender.

Dallas is 8-1. New England is 7-1. They might not be super teams, but they're obviously a cut above the rest of the league. Added bonus: They're probably the two most hated franchises, which drives ratings. And they each have a huge number of bandwagon fans.

I'm sure NFL execs are rock hard at the prospect of a Cowboys/Patriots Super Bowl.

All I know is that my Skins got back on the winning track today. And that's all that really matters.

Agreed (Well NE now has 2 losses).. Still don't get the doom and gloom over the NFL. NE/Seattle posted a 14+ rating, and part of that has to do with the election being over.

I also still don't get the "no good teams" take. What we are seeing now is a changing of the guard. No more Peyton (colts/Denver), Brees and Brady at the end of their careers, Romo is done.

The teams that dominated the last 15 years.. their run is over or just about. We asked where the good teams are.. They are starting to emerge. Dallas and Oakland. Denver, Seattle and New England still REALLY good, and should contend for a few more years. Teams like Titans and Minnesota have lots of promise.

One problem is that teams that started to emerge last season, Carolina and Arizona, have totally crapped out. Which makes for a bad look in the early season.

Way to give up a bengals like play last night steelers. Only the bengals could of done that. Also gotta give it up to the Broncos I think mike nugent might of been trying the extra point for them

Rooting hard for Bengals. Giants fans are some of the worst in the sport. Fairweather know-nothings. Always rainbow pumping their team.

They were fortunate enough to take on Dallas without Zeke and Dak's firsy game in week 1. Week 2, and that's an L for the gmen. Not impressed.

I think there must be some rule that Ohio state running can only produce one great NFL running back every 20 years since Eddie George was the last great running back to play in the nfl for them all the way back to 95

Bengals still in the mix in the AFC central but, play like they are in the drivers seat and don't want to get anyone hurt. The conservative play calling in this game is pathetic,

You guys know this team better than me.. But ive seen enough of Dalton. 160 yards with Green and Eifert? Part is on the coaching.. But it seems they dont have much faith in him.

If your QB cant win the big game.. At the end of the day he's no more useful than the worst QB in the league. All the same.

He's not a top ten QB, but it wouldn't matter.

No offensive line, no offense.

As a Bengals' fan, I don't see how anyone didn't see this coming.

Three of my teams (Bengals, Reds and UK football) are doomed to be inept my entire lifetime. Bring back Marge Schott.
You're far and away my favorite sports poster on this board your meltdowns always help me get over a ****** loss. I'm exactly like you rooting for the same teams and yes we are cursed

Mike nugent might be the worst kicker of all time. Glad I worked 3 shift and got up for this garbage. Glad to see we managed to get aj injured as well

This is a pitiful display of football. I have no idea how we can be so bad after losing a safety and 1.5 receivers this game was lost after nugent missed the first xtra point

Actually just changing out the Coach and QB would do wonders.

The hit they have taken from the assistant coaches leaving is really overlooked by many. However Marvin did not replace them near as well.

Cinci has a ton of talent, in fact more than half the league so the problem isn't the players it's the coaching.

Barkley the back up for Chicago would be better then Dalton.
