One of the XM guys I was listening to just picked the Giants to win. Said he thinks the Giants defense is legit and will be a problem this year for opposing teams. The offense will go as far as the OL/QB take them.
Just my 2 cents, but I think Dart will be the starting QB there by the season’s end.
Huge injury for the Chiefs on their 1st drive. Xavier Worthy got buried on a mesh route by Kelce. Dislocated shoulder for sure as they had to pop it in.

Only downside, at least to a Birds' fan, is that the Chiefs will be even more fired up for Game 2, against the Birds. (Not that I didn't expect them to be totally fired up after the Super Bowl.)
Lots of infighting on their D and alot of grumbling about Chris Jones getting comfy after getting paid last year. Here is Drue Tranquill lighting him up for ignoring his assignment on the 3rd and 17 scramble to ice the game
Interesting stat from last night: in his first four years in the NFL Mahomes was #1 among qbs in downfield passing, last three years second to last.
I’m not brimming over with enthusiasm about Hurts with only four incompletions. (Three throwaways, one drop.) This means that he’s not going downfield enough, imo. You gotta go deep every now and again. The Eagles were lucky Lamb had a subpar game.

I got an interesting lineup today. Plus the missus is out with friends until 16:00; doesn’t happen often.
Giants-Commanders at 1.
Steelers-Jets at 1. I normally root hard for the Steelers, not this year. (Yes, that’s the very reason.)
Lions-Packers at 4:25. Will be rooting hard for Micah and the Packers. Why? My best guess is that I want to see Jerry’s explanation after Parsons has a monster game.

First Indianapolis drive: Warren with 3 catches on 3 targets for 43 yards.
Still, a two-point game at halftime. But, yeah, the Jets O was pushing the Steelers D around, from what I’ve seen during the Commanders breaks.
The Commanders O is not quite in sync. Their issues look easily fixable. I wish they’d put more points on the board so I could unclench but they do look good this afternoon.
Warren now 8 targets, 6 catches, 61 yards. He’ll be a weapon for the Colts; I am thrilled to see this.
Warren’s final stats today: 9 targets, 7 catches, 76 yards, 10.9 ypc. A solid start for a great Penn Stater!!!!!
