Baltimore fans celebrate. Weird game. Metcalf getting suspended might have been the difference, we’ll never know. Metcalf out next week also. Baltimore-Pittsburgh next week for the final playoff berth.

It was a weird game. Despite Metcalf being unavailable due to the suspension, I thought the Steelers would get the win. His absence was notable.

It's kind of enjoyable how frequently in the NFL getting into the playoffs, or the seeding, come down to the last game. I thought the Ravens were road kill a few weeks back, but they are still in as a result of their win against the Pack this weekend, and the Steelers losing to the Browns.

Should be an entertaining final weekend of the season.

Zero chance for Steelers to make playoffs now. Only Tomlin can screw this up year after year. Also, metcalf 45 mil not voided. Now imagine Steelers not making playoffs because of not having metcalf especially today.
finally maybe wake the front office up!!!

My bad, there is one other game that will determine a playoff team. Tampa Bay-Charlotte, I believe.

Steelers played whole game worrying about Garrett getting a sack. May send them packing now
Because THAT’s the 💩 that the current organization cares about: non-losing seasons and individual records. Regardless of who wins next week, we’re guaranteed to draft somewhere in the mushy middle, where it’s hard to find true difference-makers. Mediocrity, thy name is Stillers!!

Steeler's announcers Max Starks, said Joey Porter is a good tackler. Wow...what a homer.

Which is insane because Tampa might be worse than Pittsburgh or Baltimore. Losing to Miami today and still alive.

If the Steelers lose next week or in the first round playoffs then Tomlin has to go. This just can't be tolerated any longer.
You really think that is going to happen? No it won't. Tomlin is staying until he finally has a couple bad losing seasons and then maybe still he doesn't leave. I can see at least 5 more years if not more with Tomlin. No incentive for him to leave. He makes $17 million a year. Why quit a job where you are creating all this generational wealth for your family? He is comfortable and the franchise is stagnant. You could have seen this coming a mile away with Tomlin. He is the James Franklin of the NFL.

Look at New England and that is the way to run a franchise. Have the balls to rid yourself of a coach who has overstayed his welcome then get an excellent coach and be in a position to draft a top QB. They screwed up on the HC hire right after Belicheat but then got it right.

Meanwhile the Stillers are in a constant state of mediocrity. I look it as it really makes no difference. Even if the Stillers won today they are certainly losing to the Bills. So either end the misery next week or lose another playoff game. Net net is it is the same bad movie over and over and over. No end in sight. Who cares about the fans.

No, I don't think they'll fire him but the pressure will start to grow.
I 100% agree with everything you said.

Winning team will proceed to a very short playoff appearance.

I've said this before, James Tomlin's wife owns a major clothing business with an NFL product license. Let him get on with his life's work. He could sew logos on jockstraps.
