Anyone ever been to one? I am a big Capitals fan and they are playing the Hurricanes in Raleigh at NC State's stadium that holds 58,000. The cheapest ticket for it is $335 before service charges. That's crazy.
Raleigh seems like it’d be too far south for a good stadium game.Anyone ever been to one? I am a big Capitals fan and they are playing the Hurricanes in Raleigh at NC State's stadium that holds 58,000. The cheapest ticket for it is $335 before service charges. That's crazy.
Part of the problem is that I don't really know any other hockey fans. Much less someone to pay $400 for a ticket with me.I’d pay that to see a Winter Classic game. That’d be an experience you’d always remember.
That is a problem. I wouldn’t want to go to that alone.Part of the problem is that I don't really know any other hockey fans. Much less someone to pay $400 for a ticket with me.
I would love to go. Live only 2 miles from the NC St stadium. But I ain’t paying that! Plus will be at Mardi Gras with girlfriend that day.Raleigh seems like it’d be too far south for a good stadium game.
I just know that the ice was frequently in poor condition during the early and later parts of our seasons when I was growing up in Cincinnati. It was simply too warm to produce good ice, even for indoor rinks.I would love to go. Live only 2 miles from the NC St stadium. But I ain’t paying that! Go Canes!
Woo woo woo!!!!
Maybe the technology is better now. I know they've had an outdoor ice rink set up in the new downtown Raleigh ampetheather since T-giving, and also one in Cary, both within 5 miles of Carter-Finley Stadium.I just know that the ice was frequently in poor condition during the early and later parts of our seasons when I was growing up in Cincinnati. When that happens, it slows things down and you can run into issues with the puck jumping around.
