I'm sure that's true, but many moderate Republicans and independents will choose the Democratic nominee over Trump.

Doubtful you will find many moderate republicans who would vote for Hillary. More than likely, we probably just won't vote if it's Trump vs Hillary.

There are lots of people like robEERt that are supporting Trump. I hope that such people know that if Trump is elected he isn't going to do a lot of this stuff that he's talking about. People say stuff to get elected and that's what Trump is doing.

In fact, I think it's even more clear that Trump is saying stuff to get elected because the guy has been famous and outspoken for decades and yet he doesn't have a track record of being for all these things he says he's for in the GOP primaries. If he really was into all this stuff then we'd have known long before he ran for POTUS.

The flip side of that coin though is all the people on the left that are aghast that someone with such crazy views is doing so well. They don't seem to get that he doesn't actually have all these crazy views. The scary thing about Trump isn't his views, rather that he's willing to pander to bad impulses in people in order to get votes.

I hope the democratic nominee is good at pointing this out. You and I are intelligent enough to know this is what is/will happen but I'm not sure a lot of voters can figure it out. He always hires the cheapest labor possible. How can a guy like that really, honestly, be a fighter for the middle class?

The Dem nominee is going to be on the defensive about her emails, Beghazi, Bill and his extra curricular activites, etc. Trump takes it to the mud, and she will have to follow. It won't be about policies.

Once he does get the GOP nomination, we will certainly see him transform into a liberal. I can hear him now..."I love gay people!"

In a weird way though that might be useful. The social conservatives might listen to sense on some of these issues if it comes from someone like Donald Trump but they won't if it comes from you're typical lefties. They feel like Trump is on their side so they'll listen to him.

It's like the animosity is so great between the two side in politics that if one side says "X is okay" the other side reflexively wants to be against X.

Not sure I follow this line, and would like to know where you are going. Without trying to dazzle me with your footwork, please list and explain what, why, and how.

I saw Thee Donald patting the pregnant lady on the belly. Do you think that could have been some gay impregnation?

He's had things like "Mexico is sending rapists" that he knows is just red meat for bad impulses in people.

This is terrible. Sometime Opie may be smarter than he acts, but we know you are just plain stupid and eaten up with the dumb ***. You don't even admit what you don't know. For example your, "He always hires the cheapest labor possible." And you know this how? Would you stoop to lying? Just tell us you have no idea who or how much he pays his hired help. Probably pays people about what they are worth on the open market. Some things he does not control and he would have to pay the going price to get good people. Does that make more sense than your asinine remark? Gee.

Damn, that is a rather short list. Stop listening to BBC only. Several networks reported that Mexico was choosing to send the people committing these acts across border rather than housing and paying to do so in country. That seems reasonable to me and it was reported via multiple sources. Can you not see that as a very easy way to rid Mexico of the cost?
