NCAA is incompetent, but our coaches had to know such a risk existed taking a player with his particular situation.

Multiple players have been given a 6th year of eligibility. It should be a no-brainer that he should get a +1 if for no other reason than the Covid year. Even if you count all the other years he was eligible to play, he should get the +1 for the COVID year. He's only actually played 3 years.
That said, it's clear the NCAA is gonna screw him, and USC. If form holds they'll clear him to play, after a lawsuit, ....in November.
