Much better execution the second half sans a couple of late break downs. The defense was very strong the second half too. Perry made a really dumb play late when he needed to use better judgement as the point guard. I enjoyed watching Padgett school the young man after that bad play with just over a minute to go.
Big shout out to the home crowd tonight.

watched on TV...crowd was much louder, most impressive compared to the normal "season ticket holders".... Sucks they are in NIT...but they didn't deserve to be in NCAA. Good win. atleast they are still playing and if anything Padgett is getting tournament experience for his next gig.
So...are you currently a former or current Louisville fan???

im married to a UK fan..so I like both. pretty simple. im non biased on both schools. If NKY would have won would have been cool...since they are an in state school. I like WKU, Murray St. etc...
Pretty sure that was for the refs. They were terrible even in the second half when the Cards started getting calls. The refs didn't get better. The players just decided to play the way the refs were going to let them play and it worked.
Interesting game next time out. MTSU is a pretty solid midmajor. Believe their coach is headed to Ol Miss for a P5 payday.
MTSU is head and shoulders above NKU. I watched them 2-3 times this season and IMO should have been in the tourney. Definitely better than a lot of tailenders from power-5 conferences.
The NCAA screwed over the mids with their expansion. Guarantee the second place (and in many cases regular season champ )of the mids are more qualified than number six down in ANY P5 conference.
