Anyone see this? One of the biggest surprises to me was Marmion ranked #16, ahead of schools like Fenwick (#17) and Loyola (#18).

Pretty meaningless when you look at the ranking details small sample size and subjective information from a very few number of respondents first item is ACT/SAT score which doesn't give a complete view of any school

interestingly, i would have brought down the Lab's schools' act/sat average by more than one person's score ever should...

I sat through a presentation by a Rita recruiter to our 8th graders a few years ago in which he was selling them on the top 50% of their students who took the ACT averaged a 29. So I looked at the info he gave out and the whole school average was a 23...

A little suprised BUT Marmion is an outstanding academic school. Hard to get into and has a relatively large number of kids going to the academies

This listing just proves further that Benet Academy is the Stanford of Illinois High Schools - top notch academics, a good price, a nice suburban setting and campus, and a chance to play deep into state play-offs in both their men's and women's sports program.
