Not a single shot over 4' on tape. Not complaining. Would think Mr. Nicholson would show at least a few 3-pointers or at least mid-range shots - that is if he was called upon to take any.

Maybe Nance could follow his example a bit.

How is the competition in that league rated. A lot of the opponents in those clips look a bit undersized. But of course he is 7-1!

He moves really well for a big man. Can run the floor, and has a decent first step. On the one breakaway, he dribbled and dunked, perhaps a remaining vestige from his guard days.

Does get doubled a lot?

Not strict double teams, from what I've seen, but certainly there are help schemes. You have to pick your poison against this team. He gets a number of baskets in transition.

But since you asked....people are critical of his three point shooting, much more so than of Boo....they are basically shooting exactly the same from three as one another. I think both will be nice three point shooters for Nu when their careers are over.

People are critical of his playing too far outside because he needs to be low rebounding. He's out rebounding Young. People posted that Robby passed him. Look at the stats, not close.

I think there's so much hope and potential for Nance that he gets tons of attention and a lot of that is driven by what the team needs versus what is in Nance's game. Like the suggestion that he should play at 5. Talk about cancelling out every part of his game.

I think the takeaway for Nance this year is he got much, much better over his truncated frosh year.

I think he was decent early in the season. Then he looked like a lost soul on the court. Then the last couple weeks he started to figure it out and was playing pretty well. I have no problem with nance taking a few 3’s a game, but he’s a way better player when he uses his size and athletic ability to get to the hoop.
