I want to give, a lot.
But... why hasn't anyone contacted me specifically about Tulsa NIL donations? I used to give pretty good for many years. Why wouldn't TU NIL personally contact past donors?

There's renewed energy. No???

Of course... I still don't fully understand how this NIL stuff works. I loathe it all. But... it is what it is.

I also understand that contributions are NOT tax deductible. Right?

Are you sure? Thought Loyal Aaways True was for athletics in general and school decides how to use. Couple years ago they wouldn’t allow designation and when they did they would just deduct your direct support from planned overall giving to men’s bb program.

There is a lot of conflicting information out there. The TU athletic office called me as soon as I sent them an email and walked me through it. THEY KNOW THE RULES and can help you make an informed decision.

I committed to the most money I have ever pledged for any tax exempt institution.

Multi year commitments are best for AD planning purposes. But every little bit counts.

I want my money to go to TU Athletes -- not DC!!!!!

BTW I doubled my pledge once I heard about Riley and Ford today. Anger fuels me.

The 2.6 million total is insanely higher than last year. More than triple! I cannot speak to the athletic part. Of course we are now fully in the revenue share world now too.

If you simply add the two athletics line items together, that total exceeds the University's entire total take from the 2025 giving day.

That tells you something.
