Happy for you local guys who get another home game but I think we should have turned em down. I suppose coach knows best and I hope he polled teh team to see if they would
Last time we went to the NITs , it was a blast watching them play at MSG

Unfortunately, won’t have the same opportunity this year

I just remember watching us warm up before the Michigan game and looking at the Michigan players and thinking “this is not good” - they seemed so much bigger, stronger, more athletic

As with football and bowl games it helps playing extra games -- the experience and practices could only help.

1999 deja vu
Late season collapse, finish 500 in league after being 4 games up, win first round conf game, last 1-2 not to make it, get Hofstra in first round. Jay Wright was their coach, snd I think their best player speedy PG Claxton was out. Won close then lost to Clemson.

Is it correct speedy is now their HC?

Jerry Palm hasn't had an erection in decades... until he saw we didn't get into the tournament and were gonna be relegated to the Not Invited Tussle.

All kidding aside, my son loves RU hoops (he's 14) and is just excited he gets to see them for at least one more game, so that has made this a bit easier for me personally, but still. I still feel gut-punched.

Hofstra honestly aint bad. Ive seen them play.

The idea of getting shu again at the rac is exciting
Here's a strange fact from a Carino story: "It’s the program’s [Seton Hall] first appearance in the tournament since 2012, when the Pirates beat Steve Pikiell-led Stony Brook before losing to UMass."

I can see why they moved the semis/finals away from MSG .... looks like a tremendous venue

I am looking forward to the chance to win a 20th game and to play more games. Caleb needs 41 points for 1000 so let's hope we can play several games to give him a chance to do that. Hopefully we can proof something to the committee and that we can improve our situation going into next season.

I wonder how air travel issues and prices have changed the revenue calculations for postseason play across the board.

BTW.. as I typed this I saw a scrolling story on the right video window with title.. "Rutgers Fails to make the NCAA for 3rd year in a row"... technically accurate but leaves the wrong impression to any outside visitors seeing that.

My girlfriend said "Rutgers sucks, they haven't made the tournament for the 3rd year in a row"

I asked her where she got that from because that website is stupid and shouldn't be taken seriously.

"The Knight Report" LOL.

Right? How easy is it to notice that and change it to, say, "Rutgers streak of NCAA Tourney Invites Ends with ROBBERY".
