Believe we have no shot at the NIT. Fordham and Iowa loss at noted above are going to haunt us. However, we are seeing significant progress and respect. Hopefully with the addition of 2 real PGs and another year under the direction of pike next year we flourish. I expect NIT next year.

There are 43 teams ahead of us on the cut line and 2 of those teams are under .500.
Take this analysis with a pound of Morton salt.
Assuming a 5-1 finish we'd be 18-15 and would be rooting for reg conf winners to win their tournaments and would be watching NCAA bid theives in conference tourneys too.
At 4-2 17-16 we'd need most if not all scenarios to work in our favor to get a miracle NIT birth berth

When you say two teams below .500, I would add in Nebraska (15-13) as another team likely to finish below .500. Moving on up!
