Ohio quadruplet brothers accepted at Ivy League universities

HAMILTON, Ohio – Quadruplet brothers in Ohio have all been accepted at some of the nation's top universities, including each of them to both Yale and Harvard.

The Wade brothers of the northern Cincinnati suburb of Liberty Township say they have been notified in recent days of acceptances from a number of notable schools. Lakota East High School principal Suzanna Davis tells theHamilton-Middletown Journal-News that the four seniors epitomize academic focus but are well-rounded, "great young men" with individual personalities.

Aaron, Nick, Nigel and Zachary haven't made their decisions, though Aaron likes Stanford University and his three brothers are leaning toward Yale. Financial aid offers likely will play an important role.

The youths said they are grateful to their parents and to the Lakota schools and their teachers.

"It's really something we couldn't have done on our own without all the support we have had through our lives," Nick said. "It has been awesome."

Their mother, Kim Wade, is a junior high school principal in the Lakota district, and their father, Darrin Wade, works at General Electric Co.

"We feel like getting into these schools show who the people around us are," Nigel said.

Zachary added that they have always gotten encouragement that "the sky's the limit" with their hard work.

"We were never told that we couldn't get somewhere," Zachary said.

The Washington Post reports that Harvard doesn't comment on admission statuses and that Yale said by policy, it doesn't discuss admitted students.

Woman arrested for attacking man's boat with hammer

RUTHER GLEN, Va. – Authorities say a black woman accused of using a hammer to smash a white man's car and boat at a gas station before attacking him has been arrested.

The Caroline County, Virginia, sheriff's office says 26-year-old Angela Jones was arrested Wednesday in New Jersey.

The sheriff's office says witnesses saw Jones use a hammer to hit the car and boat it was towing. Authorities say she then attacked the man while referring to him as "rich" and "white."

Sheriff Tony Lippa told Masslive.com that Jones scratched and hit him, but didn't hit him with the hammer.

The man and his wife told WTVR-TV in Richmond, Virginia, they were driving from Florida to their home in Massachusetts when the incident happened Saturday.

It wasn't immediately clear whether Jones has an attorney.

Amy Schumer: 'I get enough attention from men that I feel good'

When it comes to aging, the idea doesn’t bother Amy Schumer one bit.

This may be a rarity in Hollywood, but the 35-year-old comedian insisted to InStyle that her looks haven’t impacted her from earning success as a star

“What’s good about not being a model is that it’s not the thing I trade on,” she explained. “Once I start looking older, that won’t affect me. I have never gotten anything done because I’m, like, so gorgeous. I’m good-looking enough that I can work in the business. I get enough attention from men that I feel good. I see pictures of myself now, and I look younger than I think of myself. It hasn’t scared me yet.”

According to Schumer, her youthful appearance is the reason why she’s not looking into surgical procedures to freeze the aging process anytime soon.

“…I cannot imagine a moment when I will need filler for my face, as if it needs to be filled. Can we unfilled this? Let’s get emptier,” she explained.

Schumer also joked that her parents may be the reason why she’s not afraid to radiate a high self-esteem, especially when on the red carpet.

“My parents made me think I was a genius supermodel,” she said. “And it was kind of too late when I found out that they had been lying.”
