To add some more irrelevant fuel to the fire, BC beat UMass worse than Florida did (barely), so for anyone who thinks Florida has an electric offense should recheck. We simply just stink and could possibly have one of the worst defenses in the country. If a team that hasn't scored over 30 points by playing the likes of Umass and Florida Atlantic(OT) in 10 games then destroys us 45-7. WE SUCK. That Florida team lost practically all offensive playmakers from last season and some NFL players on defense. We wont destroy NMSU by any means unless I am missing something,

Comparing scores from other games is idiotic. The offense Florida had the last six games of last year is not the same offense they had the first six games of last year z(before Grier went out) and is not he same offense they have this year. For some reason you continue to post this same crap. Florida has a solid defense, as usual and an offense that is starting to click. They will be a very difficult out for any team in the East this year. What offensive playmakers did they lose? Their running backs are better (and deeper), they're receivers are better (and deeper), their QB is certainly better (especially compared to the second half of last season, their OL, which had the fewest starts of any in the country going into last year, is certainly more experienced and probably much better and they have an offensive guy for head coach who is in his second season. That all adds up to very likely a much better offense than last year. Not sure where you come up with your facts.

Yes, Florida's offense is different. It is WORSE, possibly the same as last year. Even Del Rio was shocked how easy he had it. Florida isn't starting to click anymore than last week against UMass, we are simply just horrid. So you are saying 2 weeks in a row our Dline gets man handled and its because both Olines are suddenly NFL esque? NOOOO. Did you watch the UMass game? More than likely no, but I know an Oline doesn't get that much better over one game. WE SUCK. We got destroyed, not just beaten, sunshine. If UMass had an offense it would have been a game against Florida. Florida likely will win the East this year, and it is because as you can look around and see, the rest of the East is mediocre to terrible.

Tell me comparing scores is idiotic but I guarantee if UMass would have beaten BC you and every sunshine pumper would be flaunting that around the lair. I literally said it is irrelevant. But it is something to think about and all there is to go by early in a season.

How on earth are they better at all of those positions you say? That isn't even a real argument....

Calloway and Powell are their ONLY receiving threat, compared to Robinson, Powell, Calloway, and McGee last year, that is why CBS announcers were bashing Florida saying they are in a lot of trouble if they lose one of their receivers when they kept playing them in the 3rd. They replaced Kelvin Taylor(over 1000 yds, 13 TDs) with a transfer who is decent (everyone looks decent against this D) and the 2 backups are the same as last year and you can say they are deeper at RB? Are you joking? Not sure...They also lost their 2 most common targets at WR from last year. Their offense scored 14 on us last year, 45(could have had more easily) this year and you think its because their offense that much better? Goodness its ironic the people who call others idiotic.

I read in another post that Kentucky is the only team in the nation that ranks 120th or below in both total offense and defense, lol.

StOops did say in his press conference that they were going to review film even more closely this week though so we've got that going for us.
UK wins easy. Many football fools in this thread.

NMSU just beat a New Mexico team for the first time in 6 years.
New Mexico beat Air Force(8-6) and at Boise State(9-4) last year finishing 7-6 and almost beating Arizona in their bowl game. Oh yeah, and Boise beat Washington who took out USM which is very irrelevant but it goes to show we can very well be beaten Saturday. Ecspecially with a morale at an all time low and their morale likely very high.

Sorry fellas if you consider this a win already after the last 2 games and the recent SEC upsets/near upsets you need a reality check.

The last 6 quarters of football show me nothing to believe we are better than NMSU.

I don't think its wrong to say that if we don't give an effort and correct our mistakes that we could lose EVERY game we play this year. Having better talent has never been a guarantee that UK will win so this staff has to find a way to pull deep inside of this team for them to win Saturday.

Florida is four deep at RB vs. just Taylor last year. I can assure you they feel much better about that position. Robinson was encouraged to leave after last season. They believe that Worton, the freshman Cleveland (# 2 ranked receiver in the country, as well as Massey (top JUCO receiver last year, who was hurt in the opener), and the two freshmen who played Sat., Hammond and Swain (who caught a TD) along with Callaway, give them a much stronger and deeper receiving group. You may not think so and Danielson may not think so, but I can assure you the UF staff thinks so. McGee was a good pass catching TE, but they believe their group of Goolsby, Lweis and Stephens gives them much better options of catching and blocking (not to mention depth) at that position as well. Let's talk about six weeks from now and see whose opinion is more accurate.

I understand we are terrible this year. I get that we probably won't win a conference game. However, I refuse to believe that we are going to lose to the New Mexico State Aggies. I fully expect us to kick their behind.

I would wager only that NMSU is coming into CWS thinking they can beat the 'Cats. Nothing like a confident "David" coming into CWS believing they can notch a win over a team from the "Goliath" conference.....the SEC.
That might be the first time a team that gave up 79 straight points was called Goliath...

Didn't say the UK was a Goliath--rather a team from the" 'Goliath' conference...the SEC."

I think we will win, but I'm not guaranteeing anything. If the UK of the past 2 games show up, we can lose to anybody.
