Takes a while to heal on its own too. Not a good injury for a PG.He needs surgery. This is going to be an ongoing issue.
JJ is a very good player but, he is not,,, DillinghamJJ is gonna play more. You can tell he has talent, a left-handed Dillingham imo, but I'm not sure about being a point guard, he likes to shoot.
Awesome.
I would now make him backup PG. Start using Aberdeen or JJ, and ease Lowe back in. This not only keeps him healthy, but it starts the process of finding our next PG, should we need it. The goal would be to go into the tournament with the option of playing Lowe or keeping with Aberdeen.
And these guys now get paid, so it really shouldnt hurt any feelings if one is on the 2nd unit.
Well, given we had Lowe, Aberdeen, JJ, Chandler, and Oweh already in the fold, maybe there was no one good enough to compete at UK's level who was willing to come here.It amazes me that an analytics genius like Pope would not have a true backup PG nor hardly any other guard who has handles.
It amazes me that even a dumb *** coach wouldn’t have a true backup PG nor hardly anyone who has handles.
I personally think Pope is on the sauce. There has been whispers of folks seeing Pope with a Big Gulp cup of Coke around town.🫤It amazes me that an analytics genius like Pope would not have a true backup PG nor hardly any other guard who has handles.

Purple Drank. He’s on the syz-urpI personally think Pope is on the sauce. There has been whispers of folks seeing Pope with a Big Gulp cup of Coke around town.🫤
He’s got to play like Aberdeen & get to the paint, can’t sit out there launching 3s cause it does not look like that’s the strong part of his game. If JJ will attack the paint and glass when he can, it will further his game and his pt.JJ is gonna play more. You can tell he has talent, a left-handed Dillingham imo, but I'm not sure about being a point guard, he likes to shoot.
Ugh, that’s a HUGE stetch…..Jasper is nowhere in the same area code as Dilly. Like nowhere even remotely close.JJ is gonna play more. You can tell he has talent, a left-handed Dillingham imo, but I'm not sure about being a point guard, he likes to shoot.
gets like 4 mpg, pope needs to let him rock outUgh, that’s a HUGE stetch…..Jasper is nowhere in the same area code as Dilly. Like nowhere even remotely close.

Because his shoulder isn’t injured… His pride and ego are!
Sorry, not sorry that bothers some of you, but the Law of Averages says something else is going on.
Yes, he needs to focus on defense, getting to the rim and distributing the ball. His shots will come and he'll get his minutes, too. He’s got to play like Aberdeen & get to the paint, can’t sit out there launching 3s cause it does not look like that’s the strong part of his game. No, say it ain't so! He's on the Devil's energy sauce?! Caffeine. Starts with soda and then progresses to (gasp) Red Bull! Intervention needed.I personally think Pope is on the sauce. There has been whispers of folks seeing Pope with a Big Gulp cup of Coke around town.🫤
I agree. Anyone wishing injury aren’t fans of the same team as me. And yes we do need the offense and playmaking that Lowe can provide. If MRI showed no additional damage, let’s play the kid as backup and keep it light with him in practice going forward. At this point I assume they are assessing what’s best for him. Further injury can worsen the situation. His health and long term result must take precedence.
if we make the assumption he can return, I like the idea of putting him into a backup role. Fewer minutes translated to lower likelihood of reinjury. More time to strengthen our depth.
Tough situation. Congrats to the Pope LOD.

I have no idea how you continue to have a working account on this site. Always bad faith posting and ragebait garbage.Because his shoulder isn’t injured… His pride and ego are!

We recruited one. He plays for Nova.It amazes me that an analytics genius like Pope would not have a true backup PG nor hardly any other guard who has handles.

Well I would say maybe we should have gotten another one instead of 2 guys we redshirted? We recruited one. He plays for Nova.
I’m sure there was a line out the door waiting to be the third PG on a team loaded with guards.Well I would say maybe we should have gotten another one instead of 2 guys we redshirted?
Uk has the money to pay someone. Money tends to make hurt feelings go away fast....I’m sure there was a line out the door waiting to be the third PG on a team loaded with guards.
Not enough for a quality player though. Sure you could pay a decent chunk for a 3rd PG but then that money limits what you have to spend on your other players. No one in the country has 3 starting caliber pure PG'sUk has the money to pay someone. Money tends to make hurt feelings go away fast....
We can fault him for not planning for Lowe to get injured, but what bigtime pg was going to come here to sit behind Lowe?It amazes me that an analytics genius like Pope would not have a true backup PG nor hardly any other guard who has handles.
