This was expected not a big surprise. Keeping Rhule is not about offering him more money it's about getting him the money to build rosters to win championships at Nebraska, yes he cares about it that much. Many coaches want as much money as they can get for themselves and family, I don't get that vibe from Rhule he's not built that way. I believe Matt Rhule truly wants Nebraska to be in the national championship conversation but he's fully aware of what it takes to be in that position. jmo
Elite interest from prospective coaches is certain to be true but what is that really saying? Lots of guys wanting a big paycheck and good luck with picking the right guy.
