No Gregg Allman posts although he died 10 or so days ago? Really?

Have you folks no soul? I'm not a huge Allman Brothers Band fan but I did like some of their songs a lot and you could tell they had a lot of heart and soul and great musical ability, which are things sadly lacking in music today (and by the way, get off my lawn).

I've been listening to more of their music lately and watching Gregg Allman interviews too. Very interesting guy. They (Gregg and Duane) grew up without a father not because of the usual way that their father was a deadbeat and left but rather because their father was murdered when they were small.

I guess you missed them (the threads). A great loss to the music world.

Yeah, actually I was a away for awhile and not on here so I guess I have no idea whether there were threads about him, which means my post was kinda dumb.

It's all good, his passing was noted on the board. I've been an Allman Bros. fan for about 4 decades, saw them several times and saw Gregg Allman last year at the Clay Center in Charleston. He toured and played to the too early end. Sad!

I took my son to see The Allman Brothers at the Beacon Theater in NYC several years ago. He didn't appreciate what he saw then but he does now. He was 13 I think. I also think it was the first time he ever smelled marijuana.[winking]
