They will likely pull the country to the right.

It's going to be a runoff. Le Pen may pull this off if the far left candidate (former communist) finishes in first or second place. He has said France will have to learn to live with terrorism and does not want to deport even immigrant/migrant felons. He also wants a mandatory 6 week vacation for all French workers.

I'm assuming runoff with a center-right win.

I'm guessing you have never been to France.

Personally, I've been there many times. The French are far left compared to America. If a right of center candidate really does win, it will represent a seismic shift for the French.

The challenge for the French is the they are far left economically. A socialist, Hollande, is currently running the show and he wanted individual tax rates to peak at 71%. He nearly ruined the country's economy as many high earners fled, primarily to the U.K. Luckily for the French, their Supreme Court overturned this tax decision but there is no doubt the French populace are highly tied into a huge welfare state. The communist challenger is promising 6 weeks of paid vacation for everyone, for example.

Most germans have in one form or another. Question, why did the French plan trees along the Champs Elysee? So the Germans could march in the shade.:scream:

Question: Why do French tanks have a reverse gear?

Answer: In case the enemy attacks from behind.

That joke makes no sense. Wouldn't they have a reverse gear if they attacked from the front?

eBay has an French infantry rifle for sale. The description say, "Nie gefeuer. Sank einmal," which is German for "Never fired. Dropped once."

Oops, yeah, you're right, I flubbed it. Let me try again.

Surely, even the French are clever enough to see that this far-left guy is looney.

They did, but Micron who is billed as a centrist calls himself an ex-socialist. I think it still runs through his blood and he will very likely beat Le Pen.

But keep in mind, current President Hollande is an avowed socialist. Very, very far left guy.

Macron is a Rothschildpuppet...

Macron spent years as Director at Banque Rothschild, he became a puppet of the rich and powerful...

just like obama was a Sorospuppet...

Election interference: Obama tries to swing French election by endorsing Macron

https://www.sott.net/article/348774...-to-swing-French-election-by-endorsing-Macron

Yeah....because Obama's endorsement worked out great for Hillary...

If Obama were truly a real progressive, he would have endorsed Mélenchon, the real left-wing candidate, not the big-money financed fake leftist.

But since Obama is what he always was - a big-money financed fake leftist himself - his words of encouragement for his fellow establishment puppet are not unexpected.

Obama's interference in the French presidential election - just like his earlier interference in the UK's Brexit vote - comes at a time when the rotting carcass of a dead horse called "Russian election interference"is being beaten anewby all the established fake news outlets (hereandhere).
