I mean if it’s truly about “the players safety” why play any more games at all then!? Don’t half step for appeal, followed with bs that makes no sense, really. Make me a believer!

If they weren't allowed to leave campus, what difference would it make how close Moore's parents are? The kids could have been told many times over what was in store for them. But experiencing it is a whole different thing.
Once again they knew what they were in for coming into the season. It’s not like last week they were told they had to stay at the Washington Duke inn.
For the record my 11 year old daughter had covid so yes I know the risk

We know more about the virus and who it can impact. We have treatment options. We have rapid testing. Oh and now we have a vaccine.
I’ll remember your quote next time I ask for treatment for my 11 year old daughter that had it and they said ,” over the counter medicine is all we can say!” This was a month ago

No one knew what this season was going to be like. None of us. The pandemic is something that we have not had to deal with as a country for over one hundred years. Not to mention, there are a number of freshman on the team and just adjusting to college life can be hard, and even harder with the pandemic. My friends with college age kids say they are all having trouble with the various accommodations the schools have made, like having kids at the school, but learning on line. Seems a little harsh to say to a nineteen year old, suck it up you knew there was a pandemic. Plus, K knows his team better than anyone and if he felt it was in their best interests to let them get home for a few days, then that is good enough for me.

It’s comedy at this point, it really is. “Protect the players who have a less than .00001% of dying”.
Aw man the authority ie back. Still got my fingers crossed for that herd immunity. Maybe only another 200k deaths but im sure it is coming. You have been soooo right about all of it so far. Except for that election thing. Good thing you ignored my wager that whole time. Bitchass

My thoughts are with you and your family. I have kids so I understand that would be very frustrating to hear. Hopefully they have some better answers or options for you soon.

The banter has been entertaining here though. While I disagree with Coach K's ultimate stance, there would be nothing more I'd want then a chance to beat Duke in the elite 8 come March. To get to the top, beat the best. When you think of the best, Duke is always up there.

I really don’t see why there was not a conference bubble . I get some teams would of had to travel still however it would have been to a safer atmosphere.

It is what it is at this point .

Everyone knew what the season was going to be like unless last March they found a cure after they cancelled the tourney!
If you cancel the biggest events in college basketball what made anyone think they wouldn’t cancel individual game with out a cure or vaccine.

Kids could have stayed home and did online classes so really can’t use that either. I know plenty of kids that are doing it. Colleges making the kids stay on campus and do it are just trying to keep the housing payments coming in.
My nephew attends College in San Francisco for his masters and does all his classes from his apartment.
Nothing was going to normal about this year and anyone who thought it would be was just wishful thinking.

What election thing are you referring to? Lol where I said don’t be upset if Trump won? See your problem is you’re so obsessed with Trump that you feel if anyone who opposes Biden’s communism, you automatically assume they’re a Trumper. How narrowly Leftist of you 😂

And stop with your covid fear schtick. How many people actually die from it again (simple calculation - death versus infection only)? Or will you start blabbering about “long term effects” as well?

Lastly, the secondary, subjective COD classification is such a pesky thing for you, eh? You need and desire every “death” for your agenda.

I have a pregnant wife to worry about. There’s too many idiots out there who don’t care if they make others sick. Honestly, I could care less about somone’s business shutting down. Keeping my family safe is my business

That’s the clinically ignorant spirit; don’t keep her safe and isolated if you’re that scared, drag her around and expect everyone else to walk on eggshells. I bet you feel everyone should wear a mask, not because they work (they don’t), but because you feel it’s our job to “make you feel safe”. 😂
