He may have coached backed to back the 2 worst games in NCAA history. Last year was even more egregious with Ivey, Williams and Edey. Awful game plan. Refusal to go to zone. He needs to seriously consider going to ND. And no,it is not an on any given day. Not twice. And yes,he is a good guy. Just not with an x and an o.

Real head scratcher in this one. How? HOW?
Purdue shot poorly from three, and as the game wore on became more afraid to try them late
I think they did better against us, of course, as is Rutgers luck

here As the game got late no one shot with authority

The perception was that Purdue would probably lose early as they typically do in the tournament. I went against the grain and picked them to get to the final 8. Of course they reverted to form, they are really pathetic in the NCAA tourney. Also makes the B1G look like crap. They were going against the smallest team in the tourney and your 7’4 player of the year doesn’t completely dominate the game? Terrible guard play.

Not sure how Painter going to ND solves anything . . .

Any brain surgeons want to summize a theory?
Not sure I'd want to ask them, considering they seem to have botched your lobotomy.

Clark Kellogg and Charles Barkley both basically said Purdue doesn’t play against anyone like FDU with their small fast team in the Big 10 and it was basically a bad matchup that they were unable to adjust to.

What Rutgers did to Purdue in Chicago in the 2nd half set the blueprint that Penn State would use to almost beat them and FDU used to beat them tonight. Pike's 2nd half plan exposed their weak underbelly and Coach Painter and staff couldn't find a solution among their roster before this game. If FDU did not get it done someone else would have long before the Final Four.
