Yeah, I've hit ignore on everyone who is trolling. I hadn't noticed, but almost all of them are new accounts, so I wonder if it has something to do with the merger. I barely go to KSBoard because it's full of ignorant trolls who have no interest in discussing facts, but they love to get chesty from their keyboard.

It was worse on HOB than here, much worse when my subscription ran out a few months ago! Talking about over the top negativity! Now after 4-8 when most were expecting a very good season, say 8-4, some criticism is warranted and expected but imo on HOB it was impossible to really have a conversation about UK football and anyone that expressed optimism was shouted down!
I never post in HoB because of all the azzholes, though sometimes JRow and crew post their various notes threads over there, so I have to go there to get what I paid for.
you probably saw this but there were posters urging recruits to NOT come to UK, and JR tolerated these posts! Many of them. There was a day when he wouldn't have let that go on and he stated that it wouldn't be allowed. Now he says he believes in free speech over all lol. JR is an outstanding writer and seems to be a very nice fella but I have a difference of opinion with him about what should be allowed and where to draw the line on a UK fan site.
No one is ignoring or diminishing them, unless of course you consider being honest as ignoring or diminishing.

So there were UK recruits on HOB? And the posters were telling them not to go to UK? I didn’t think so. It is crazy that some think that players, coaches, and recruits are on HOB to see what you have to say.
My favorite was the New year's day Bowl over Penn ST in 2019.

I can tell you for a fact that some players parents post on there sometimes, and I would guess that more of them lurk rather than post.
The nerve to come onto here and talk about how long ago things were when the most funded athletic program on campus hasn't been to a F4 in 10 years and hasn't won one in 12 years.
We had a coach who stopped caring, and we were very fortunate he left. The first year we got a new coach he won a record number of games against Top ranked teams in a single season.

Penn state was great Belk bowl was special too. That weekend, the Saints,Celtics, and UK played in Charlotte. Mine and my son's favorite teams. It was a great sports weekend.
I know Landon’s dad was on there and Brock’s dad checked in for a bit at the start of the season. Took a few questions and left. That is still nothing similar to them urging recruits not to go to UK. I think it’s stupid to post that garbage but it is like the ones calling for Barnhart and Stoops jobs. It doesnt affect the outcome of anything. JR was prob told by his bosses he couldn’t, and also add in he is making money off them being there

No one is downplaying it. Pointing out the truth is simply pointing out the truth. If the truth diminishes the win, then it wasn't as great as you wanted it to be.
Why wouldn't regular season wins matter in football? Kind of hard to get to get into the postseason without regular season success. Lulz.
It is tough to control who posts because everyone in the network can post on CI, even fans of other teams. Most of the SEC fan sites require you to pay their fee in order to post which limits the trolls.
I am not upset about what others care. I am upset that people like you and the other he/she/its are fine with UK paying Stoops as much money as he is getting, that UK invested more money than ever in the program, that the AD gave Stoops a contract like he just won a national title and in the past 3 years Stoops has gone 7-6, 7-6, 4-8. And are saying that you would consider 6 wins this year a positive. But you just keep watching this **** show Charlie Brown, maybe someday you will get to kick the football. Myself I am tired of thinking this is the year that I will get to kick the football only to have Stoops pull it away at the last second.

You need help! Seriously. None of us gave Stoops 9 million, nor the huge buyout. Like the guy told you, if this bothers you that bad move on and don’t watch. I have no control of anything happening at UK. Before Cal left I found myself watching less and less. Mid year last year, I only checked the score and seen how they did. This year I will go to a few games and if they play as unmotivated as last year I will watch something else. I’m not gonna get on here and till fans it their fault. Lol

Because I was excited after the 10-2 season, I was full of hope. Then the next year was 7-6 with a bowl loss. I thought hey 7-6 is pretty good for a down year by UK standards. Then the year after still 7-6 with a bowl loss. Then we get Brock Vandergriff, all the reports pre-season look good, and we go 4-8. And now it seems like everyone is hoping for 6-6. WTF!
